Which bow light... the second one, right? Maybe just mount it a little further aft (as compared to how it is in the picture) so it doesn't stick over that "edge" in the fiberglass? Although, you probably had it just generally placed there for the picture?

Actually the light is where I liked it...better angle looks more at home hanging over the lip

Are you goign to remove all that Black paint and take it back to Blue?

not doing the Bahama Blue...the Admiral and I decided on a light metallic dark red
about 56 pontiac red

this boat is a 1960
the loa is 15'3"...the 61 is 16'4"
oops.....

I like the last set up... I can see it now with a burgee on it flapping in the breeze as you scoot across the water... It will be a thing a beauty when its re chromed and polished like a new penny...

How much too wide is it? I ran into this issue when I replaced the windshield on my old Starcraft Jet. I was about an inch too wide. After I got the front fasteners in place, I was able to "compress" the windshield in a bit, marked it, drilled new mounting holes, and fastened it down.

it is 3-4" and the hull has a contour there
compressed it on the ends but still hangs out over the contour and looks kinda stupid :sad:
and this is a windshield designed to tilt up for ventilation too
have considered slicing it in the center and sectioning it back together with an aluminum strip in the middle
