Official 60 SR600 resto w/pics

Is my 2008 considered a "vintage" boat? Maybe I could come in a close second in September. Enjoy your $250 of Sea Ray gear. I doubt anyone will even come close. Great job.

Jim, the controls and box look fabulous. I like the bedliner spray for the interior. It should hold up well and look good for a long, long time.

Please take a good photo of it....we want it on the 2013 CSR calendar!!!!!

I'm no clairvoyant (sp?), but I'd place a large wager that it will have many pics taken of it in the next two months. I think it will also show up in the Sea Ray magazine as well.

And you would be at least partially right !!
(how about some lottery numbers ??)
Ok..got the interior floor done
this spray bedliner stuff seems to be the ticket
the Admiral caught me in the act from the upstairs window

She is coming a long... the black is gonna be hot in the sun....

right now everything is hinging on the Admiral and her mom finishing the upholstry
My end is coming along relatively on schedule.
going to the big web to hunt down a couple more parts I need and then progress will begin again

Ridiculous! Man oh man, I hope you have the patience of a saint when it comes to restringing that steering system. Wouldn't want to see any scratches, dings, dents, cracks, etc., after losing your mind doing it!!!

I did this once. Put the boat in the water, started the motor and only then realized I had wrapped the drum behind the dash the wrong way. Have you ever tried to pilot a boat that steers opposite the direction you turn the wheel? Right back to the dock, right now, yessir.

Jim, why not just a new teleflex helm and adapter for your outboard? Or are you trying to stay 100% vintage? I changed mine over last season when I hung a new motor on my ol' Starcraft. It had a steering tube and all that, so I said what the hell, let's go for it. Good thing too, 'cause that cable was shot in a hundred places. And that was a pain in the ass too, because the steering tube and teleflex stuff give you ZERO play when it comes to hooking everything up. Had to walk away twice, there were too many big tools around, and something would've gotten beaten senseless. But all is well, and the steering is awesome.

time is becoming an issue and so is $$$
and I couldn't be sure the teleflex unit would work with my steering wheel..that I am VERY dedicated to
did you get my PM Rick ??
