How was the job of setting it all up? What are the fox gateways?View attachment 84874 Got my nmea2k installed and my fox gateways. Love it, I wish a little of the detail from the Bluetooth was on the mfd, but it’s pretty slick

I have My 2k Network already set up is it just a simple plug into the computer and 2k cable to network?fox marine gateways will take the info from computer of your engines and put it on a nmea2000 network. The. You tie that into a nmea2k compatible mfd to be able to see it. I would say it takes 2-4 hours to install that and the network including adding the oil pressure sensors
For the older engines like mine, I had to calm Mercruiser to find out which computer it had. I have them the serial number and within a min or 2. He came back with MEFI-3

Not trying to be funny but did you remove the deck panel on the port side of the engine hatch. I was having a hell of a time getting to the floats and my buddy says: "Why don't we take this hatch cover up"? Duh...
I was reaching over the Port engine...we removed the hatch and could get right to it. The lock dogs are maybe hidden under the carpet. BTW, he let me do all the cleaning of the incorrect TP off of the floats...
I think the air filter is right on top.
Let us know!
Gottcha! I recently did a bunch of work on the battery area forward of that and there is only one way to fold myself in there.
Next up is replacing the raw water pump on the generator...basically have to lay on the aluminum strut with one foot on the top of the Starboard engine and the other on the area just aft of the fuel tank.
I am going to use an old back packing closed cell pad to keep the strut from digging into my front...
