Mercruiser makes one. I put it on my 8.1s and get all kinds of data on the MFD's.

Tell me more how you did it and what MFD you connected it to? Did you have to set up a SeaTalkng?

For gas engines, check out this thread. I added the gateway to my 320 with dual 5.7L 350s.

It’s not as hard as it seems, provided your engines are Smartcraft cable. If not, you need to look at the FOX marine gateways:
