Official 320 Dancer Thread

there are rca jacks behind radio. you will need rca to aux. i did that then hooked a 10' aux wire and ran that to compartment under steering wheel. now I can hook up phone without leaving helm.

Hello all, new owner of a 2004 320DA. Loving the boat so far, but have lots of questions about minor issues. First one...the Clarion manual states that it has an AUX input, but I can't find it anywhere. I assume that there is a 1/4 inch audio in jack somewhere that I could hook to the headphone out of my phone or tablet? Thanks!

Like the other post said, there are RCA jacks in the back. I hooked up a Bluetooth (poly planar from west marine?) and play the music that way. You have to tap into the power but it works great. Getting the radio out was real tricky. Ended up opening another panel to reach around and dislodge the stuck cables.

Mightychan - congrats on the boat and glad you're loving it. I've got the same year as you do and I found an aux port at the bottom right corner on the breaker panel in the cabin (just above the pull out drawer). I'm the 3rd owner of the boat, so there's a chance that one of the previous owners installed it. Best of luck...

Upgrading 2005 320 bulkhead TV. Going crazy trying to locate the power cable plug in. I read that it is located on the fuse box below helm but found nothing. Any ideas?

Hi all, newbie owner back again. Thanks for all the replies on my AUX input question, now I have a few others...

We are going to have the boat pulled next week to true the props. What other sort of maintenance should I do / things should I check while the boat is on the hill? It has a fresh bottom job and zincs...

What is the best option for making the front mattress more comfy? Topper, or full replacement? Sources? Also, we have no linens, I assume there is a source for fitted sheets and such...suggestions?

Has anyone rigged any simple / inexpensive bimini extenders, short of the camper top conversion? There's not a lot of shade on the back deck.

Thanks, all!

Mightychan, We also had the HARD matress issue. Have had our 340 for one season. Immediately after the first overnight, Admiral says "we have to do something about that rock of a mattress". So went on line and 3 boat shows later, went with a 2 inch thick memory foam topper for about $119.00 from Bed, Bath ad Beyond. Had to get 2 of the singles to make up enough real estate to cover entire mattress. Cut to size and had king size sheets custom tailored to fit. Total investment with sheets, topper and alteration of sheets - $275.00. Sleeps great and feels just like bed at home. Custom mattress was just ridiculous money. My brother in law then did the same on his 320 and loved it. Gook Luck.

We also wanted more shade in the back. SeaRay didn't offer a camper top for our 340. So custom was the only way to go. Got a few estimates, OMG $$$. So we opted for an oversize umbrella (the type that allows the top to tilt) that is bright and colorful. Drilled hole in cockpit table to fit umbrella, sleeved it with a rubber insert and put pvc tubes in the table pole to make the umbrella pole snug when inserted. Sets up really fast and easy and works really great as we can tilt it so that those who want shade get it and those that want sun also get. Works really good for us, cost $112.00 on Amazon.

While you have it out, consider a fresh coat or 2 of wax and any other cosmetics needed below the rub rail. Much easier than when it the water.

Enjoy the season !

We are having a custom shade put on the back. We are also having a friend of ours custom cut 2" memory foam and add it to the existing foam pieces, and the she is adding new custom upholstery for the bunks and custom cover for the mattress. Our mattress and bunks were stained when we purchased it, so always on our list to recover.
Here is a picture of another boat with the type of Bimini we are adding to the back for additional shade.

Planning on doing some electrical work on the boat this weekend so looking for some preemptive advice to save time. I would like to use one of the "accessories" button on the control pad at the helm. I did a quick search last night under the helm hoping the wires were labeled but I didn't see any. I've found the one in the engine compartment which I believe is labeled "acc aft" but didn't see anything under the helm. Am I just not looking well enough?

Mightychan, and all other 320 owners,
Here in my town there is a custom mattress factory showroom facility,
Last year I had them custom make a front mattress for our 320.
They did an excellent job, and by beveling all sides it actually made it slightly larger than a queen going across.
It is extreemly comfortable and plush.
I assume they have the pattern from their custom work on file.
I have since sold my 320 to a marina neighbor,..It is the best upgrade that I have done to the 320.
I don't recall the final price, but was very reasonable as I was comparing to other custom mattress makers others have used.

PM me if any of you would have an interest here and I will forward their contact info.......

I just bought 3" memory foam from BBBeyond trimmed it to size then cut and stitched my own sheets to fit. I had also taken the bolsters of and cut them in half to widen up the vberth. As for the extended shade get a camper top. Hands down the best thing I spent money on, with mine a chose not to have any glass put in and went with all screens, less headache. It's not cheap. It well worth the investment.

Is there a fuse for the fuel pumps? My starboard fuel pump is not priming when I flip the ignition to run. It was running for a while prior and then I stopped the motor and like 30 minutes later tried again and the fuel pump wont prime. I "think" its a fuse or loose wire but figure I will start with the easy step first.

There is a relay for the fuel pump mounted on top of the left riser looking towards back of boat.
There should be 2 relays together one is ECM other is Fuel Pump.

They are both grey? I take it is either good or bad and needs replacing? No fuse to reset/replace. Thanks!

Searched and search and could not find any of the spare or loose wires designated for the accessory buttons coming from the EIM under the helm. I did however find two spares in the ER. Any other 320 owners run into this?

They're both the same relay.
You could put your hand on them one at a time turn ignition on and feel if they click or swap them with other motor and see if pump comes on,

Switched relays with other motor and still no fire. Other motor started fine with those relays. Also check the three fuses in the single holder fuses and they are ok. Checked voltage at pump during cranking and got zero. Any other suggestions?? Thanks so much for the advice so far!!
