Official 320 Dancer Thread

Curious if anyone here has or has switched to 4 blade props over the factory 3 blade? I would like better dock handling as well as the boat to ride less bow high at cruise which I know a 4 blade prop will help with. Just curious if anyone has feedback and what props you went with. Thanks.

Anyone know if there is a matching paint code for the blue hulls? I lost a clam shell vent cover from the port side. The one that covers the galley exhaust fan vent. Anyway, All I can get is a white replacement. Would like to paint it to match the blue hull.

Thanks!

I am interested in this too. Curious to see what others have to say on the 4 blade props.

TV Help-
I have a 2005 320 that has an older LG TV that was never upgraded to HD. Looking to upgrade but was looking for direction. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hello, Im here with my first boat ever and so far i love it. Just awesome. I have a lot of questions but I will just ask 2 for now.

1) Does anybody know how long the anchor chain is before it turns into rope?

2) Also when anchoring if I'm anchoring in lets say 20 feet... Do I let out 20 feet x 5 ? = 100 feet of anchor?

Any other cool tips about anchoring?

Thanks!

We had a splendid first season with the 320 and in Vancouver BC. Lots of minor issues (sensors mainly) and many TLC jobs aside - not too eventful from a mechanical perspective. I did spend quite a few hours laying across engines while on the hook because of the sensor issues, but all part of the learning curve. As i have said before, no one got hurt and no animals died in the making of my competency during the forensics on these minor issues - so we are up for now at least

If you have followed my previous BIII posts I still have a transom plate water and corrosion mystery that does not seem as bad as first thought ..... but could still end up biting me in the wallet.
I have to say we really love the DA functionality and lines, it is almost perfect for what we need - I see a 39 or 40 in our near future though :smt038

How did everyone's season go with their 320 DAs? Mine was awesome. Have engine troubles to deal with, but hopefully nothing too major.

This was our first season with the 320 and we love it. No troubles at all aside from having to replace the raw water pump for the AC which was easy to replace but not fun to get to. Added about 70 hours to the mains and about 110 hours to the generator. Planning a few upgrades over the winter.

This was our first full summer with the 320. We had a great time and did a few decently long cruises. Including one of about 250 miles round trip that encompassed a week.

But...as much as we like the boat. She is up for sale as we would like more room. It kills me because we have a TON of money wrapped into upgrades we have done.

Christo,
For our first season going from a 260 BR to the 320 DA. It was awesome!
Spent a good part of the season getting use to it, with a lot of upgrades added as well.
Looking forward to nxt yr!

I just closed on my first 2006 320, will be keeping it in San Diego and am looking forward to the fun! It's sad seeing everyone pack their boast up for the winter when the weather is so beautiful still for boating in Southern California!

Irie308,
That's great!! Nice to see a fellow 320 owner in CT.

That's the worst! What are you planning to do?

I am going to have MM do the work early spring.
I need a new block engine + new manifolds risers and elbow on the port side.

MM estimate is at 10 grand.

what I am really upset about is that the engine block could have been salvage if they would have got to it on time but it was the 4th of July weekend and salt water sat there for a week!
