Thanks - What was the new Charger you went with? Was it difficult to install?

I went with the intellipower PD2150, it was a direct replacement, aside from having 10 more amps, it was the same dimensions as the old one. (I run 5 batteries, so I needed the extra power) The replacement was a piece of pie.

Hi , I have a 2007 340DA , IN CATAWABA OHIO, Since we are on battery chargers,
i have the PD 2040 charger. The manual say it charges/ maintains up to three batteries.
sea ray of course put FOUR -4- batteries in the boat so is the charger wired to maintain
all four batteries or is the generator/4th battery on its own ?????

Thanks in Jim

Hi Jim,

Your PD 2040 will charge three "sets" of batteries. You have two sets of batteries, each set wired in parallel. Thus your charger thinks it is only charging two batteries.

As I recall from my '05 340, your port pair of batteries are your port engine start and house batteries. Your starboard set of batteries are your helm batteries, starboard engine start, and genny start batteries.

Thanks , I was worried ,

I also have the soft to option, how is secure is the zipper area with the rain and water leaking in , I see spaces were the zippers and panels come together,( from were the isinglass zips to the top ) , also does anyone have a camper back ? It seems my aft drop curtain has a steeper slope/ less head room then with the regular Bimini top drop curtain ?
i have many more questions ( just got the boat haven't used it due to a hip issue) , LOL ,will be good to go next season .But the boat is equipped with to many high tech electronics .I have trac vision 4 , can I get free TV ? Or is there a satellite TV company with short term subscription ... Or am I stuck with direct/dish ?

Both hips turned out fine, almost if not all of the pain is gone. I've been cycling about 3000-7000 miles annually since doing them back in 2009/2010.

My camper canvas was $4500. That included screens on six of the panels.

Thanks , gives me a vote of confidence , looking forward to next years boating season, I was ready to just give up boating .

It depends on the weather of course, but I do take down the sides and aft curtains pretty much every day. Taking all the panels down is very simple. I usually leave the panels connected to the arch in place, with the screens open, and then take down the two side panels (port and starboard) in one piece each, the rear three pieces still zippered to form one piece. You can then roll them up and put them in the canvas storage bag. Installation is just as easy. In total, I can get the panels put away in about two minutes, actually faster than my neighbor who has the OEM slant back on his 340. As for the top, it can be rolled up as well, but that is something I seldom did. Included in that price was a bimini boot for that purpose.

Under cockpit sink there is a GFI that shuts down a bunch of stuff

Cockpit seating cushions: I bought the boat knowing there were some tears starting in the seating surfaces where inconsiderate or unaware guests step on entering/exiting the boat accelerate the wear. What have others done? I'm kicking around pulling all the cushions in the cockpit to recover/replace. Can't stand when fellow boaters point out the seams coming apart. I wish I had the fish package with some deck chairs!

I had the same issue. I found the part numbers for them in my parts manual but they were no longer offered by searay. My Searay dealer found the original manufacturer and got the covers through them. I had a local canvas company put them on.
They looked great and matched up nicely to the existing seats.

We have had all ours recovered because our PO used to let folk sit on them wearing sun cream and that rots the seams too. I tend to keep towels on ours to save them from sunscreen and unwanted feet.
