What a pain! 'Way to persevere.FOUND IT:
The Zinc Saver, about the size of a deck of cards, is mounted port side inside the sliding compartment by the steps. It's mounted upside down under the side deck. I'm not sure how it's wired, but I'm leaning towards putting the new unit in the AC panel compartment and running a new wire to the bonding block in the bilge.
Also, the old unit looks a little small even though it says it's rated for systems up to 100 amps. It probably original, so I'm going to replace it wit something more modern.
Update to this project. Work has been keeping me pretty well occupied so progress is slow. The first of the two side panels is almost done. I still need to do some trimming on the long open space as well as the cabinet at the base. The foam board has me working on solutions on minor issues. The hinge for the door is my challenge right now.Last year I did an improvement on my old girl and it failed due to me being placed outside in the sun. Even with six layers of resin water got in and was trapped between those layers. The panels were heavy. So this year I’m replacing those. These new panels are ultra light weight. The base material is used in showers, is waterproof and very easy to cut and shape. I have used Sailrite hull blanket and 3M spray adhesive so attach it to the walls. Tomorrow is another dry fitting just to get the thru bolts placed. The sub board is expensive $100 per sheet, but the wooden panels after all was said and done were about the same cost. The exterior foam is next and then to pick a color and style of 4way covering. LED’s will be last.
