Obama on Martha's Vineyard

He still could of taken BO with him when he passed to the afterlife.

That's what I was kind of eluding to with Teddy "Offering him a ride Home." You know, the final home.

Ah - a bit of Chappaquiddick - if he wasn't guilty then... surely he wouldn't be guilty now! :smt101

I was at the marina on Friday the 14th and saw Ted Kennedy’s sail boat pull up to the fuel dock and a group of people get off, Kennedy needed to be carried of and put in a wheel chair, at the time I thought he wouldn’t make it over the weekend. He looked like he lost 100lbs

Last weekend his boat was tied up at the end of our dock because of Bill.

I wonder if Mary Jo will say hi? Oh wait, they're in different places, never mind.

I like this one

"I remember exactly where I was when I learned of the murder of Mary Jo Kopechne 40 years ago. I remember exactly where I was when I saw the photo of Ted Kennedy in his boxer shorts following the arrest of his nephew for raping a woman in Ted Kennedy's mansion in Florida. I remember and cannot shake the vivid reality of the privileges of the elite class that Ted Kennedy represents to so many of us.

I was looking at his timeline of life events on Foxnews.com and how he left Harvard in '51 for cheating on a test. Actually, there are a lot of events in there that I'd either forgotten, or not heard of.

"With Kennedy's death, the Senate Democratic Party caucus has lost its 60-seat supermajority in the US Senate. Massachusetts law requires that his successor be chosen in a special election between 145 and 160 days of a vacancy. Prior to his death, Kennedy had appealed to Democratic Governor of Massachusetts Deval Patrick and the legislature to change state law, to allow U.S. Senate vacancies to be temporarily filled pending a special election. This law had been changed in 2004 to prevent then-Governor Mitt Romney, a Republican, from appointing a replacement for Senator John Kerry, a Democrat, in the event Kerry won the president. At that time, Kennedy successfully made personal appeals to Massachusetts Democratic legislative leaders to pass the bill, which had been stalled prior to his request. "

don't you just love it when life comes back to bite you in the a$$!

This is the perfect time for the good folks of Mass. get a change in their state! It will certainly be interesting to see how this affects the health care vote and how the election plays out. I put my money on someone winning who is not a 'chosen one' which will result in endless recounts of the vote trying for a different result... :smt043

This is what I’ve been waiting for, my vote to actually count. Wait and see how fast the DEM’s try and back door the process. If Ted was really concerned with Massachusetts being un- represented for 5 months he should have stated he was stepping down and let the special election take place.

Why do you think Obamaman is in the area? They were trying to come up with a plan to bypass the law prior to that final day. CRIMINALS!

Pretty good, we weren't worried about not being represented if Kerry had become president. They took this away from Mitt Romney, he couldn't appoint a replacement. But these are tough and difficult times...as we all have heard. When isn't it tough and difficult times?

Obama didn't need the ferry.
