All you New Englanders, let's find Obama on the Vineyard! The search begins August 23rd! With any luck, we'll get a glimpse of him and his entourage. :lol:

Ya. he may do some windsurfing with Kerry or Party with Teddy and I’m sure he’ll make a visit to Professor Gates
 
I doubt you'll have trouble locating him. All the streets will be closed, the airport will be closed, airspace around his location will be off limits as will open water within about 5 miles.

Oh......a clue may be guys in dark suits and white shirts out in a boat or on a beach. It would seem that the Secret srevice doesn't do secret every well.

Falmouth. How about you? During a typical week, we get to the Vineyard 3 or 4 times. :thumbsup: It's a pretty quick and easy 10 minute run.

Biden was near my marina in June and the Coast Guard had several patrol boats with 50 caliber guns mounted on the front and they stopped every boat and asked for title, photo i.d., where you were going and why. They weren't playing around - scared the crap out of my 7 year old with 50 cal pointed at us.
 
I thought he would be over next weekend for illumination night. I heard they pretty much took over the Wesley for the month.

And on that note, I can't stand it the way these guys come to town and take over. It violates every ethical and constitutional right the residents have. Get OUT of MY town!!!:smt021 is what I say.

Just on a side note, Illumination Night is actually on Wed. night for all of the cottages being decorated and lit up. I know there is other stuff on Thur. and Fri., just not sure what. Than the fireworks over the harbor on Sat. night. We are going for Wed.and thur. but have 2 parties on Sat.:smt009 Would rather go to OB than these parties, but oh well......
 
Update: As of 8pm tonight, Obama was at the Sweet Life restaurant in Oak Bluffs, at the end of Circuit Ave (inland).

Wasn't on the Vineyard tonight ... only ~7 miles across the Sound. :lol:
 
And on that note i guess I'll send this to the holding tank as its now a political thang
