Obama/McCain on CNN discussing your next boat

cool i'll chip in $50 towards the diesel. that should be enough... right?

Let's think big and acquire both islands -- one for summer, and one for winter. Gary can shuttle us between them in spring and fall.

Yeah, but that kind of sounds like a Democrat "making people do things they don't want to do"

Now if's Gary's willing, cool, but I've got a feeling between the two Island, the distance and uncanny ability to be foot injury prone, it's not going to happen.

But since I'm running for NW ambassador, I'll kick in another $50 to the fuel reservoir.

Where are the rest of you cheapskates?

Fuel is going to be cheap because Osama is going to put a tax on the oil companies and "give" us refunds. What a swell guy!

I just saw that the other day. He's going to tax the oil companies and he said that would pay for people to get a $1000 refund in the mail. What a dumb ass... Is he serious? So everyone's share of the government expense for this will be $200 and the oil companies will raise prices to cover it so we'll spend $2000 each to get $1000...

Someone needs to introduce him to the concept of Entropy.

Spoken like a true thermodynamics engineer.

In NY, we just say "He need to be pimp slapped".

I don't do that stuff anymore but I only brought it up when that clown was lecturing me about fluid flow in a pipe here on CSR... and he was wrong... but it's what he remembered from his high school physics class... or Home Economics... I don't remember.

This was my favorite.

Application of multigrid and adaptive grid embedding to the two-dimensional flux-split Euler equations.

my eyes glossed over after the first sentence.

Ditto:thumbsup:

The only flaw in your logic is the fact that the $1000 checks will probably have a means test.

I forgot about that guy and that thread. Actually, I found the link with Google.

The title is not that bad. He's talking about a computational method of solving the mathematical model that describes air flow over a wing. Unfortunately, the actual document isn't on-line for downloads. Although it is probably over my head since I just have a BS in math. Oh well. Euler equations are the "standard tool" of fluid dynamics, just as a really big hammer is the standard tool for bubba the boat mechanic.

Best regards,
Frank

my only experience with fluid dynamics in college is when we made a really big beer bong.

My head hurts.

Fox News just announced that Obama dissed our Governor here in Virginia (Kaine) for VP. I'm not voting for Obama now.

Isn't Kane running for Pres? or is this a different Kaine? Or did he say he didn't need a cane?

Ok, I'm pretty much sick of watching all the news about obama's VP pick. It's so slanted to the Dems that you pretty much don't even know McKain is even running.
