ny airshow zacks bay long island

I'm ready. The boat isn't, but I'm taking it there even if there are parts hanging out everywhere.

12days left!! Everybody almost ready? Make any progress alex?

150 items completed, 300 more to go. Working my butt off day and night (literally). All activities are off the table until I'm done.

As Greg said, I'll take her even if the wires are hanging (and I have plenty of them). I think i just ran 2 miles of wires. So I'll need a lot of tape to have them tied to railings.

Very nice glad to here everybody will be arriving. Hopefully we have some better traveling conditions than last year. That fog was intense

My head doesn't work, if I show up can I use someone else's???

Your crew can use mine, but only for #1, and if they use toilet paper it has to go in a zip-lock bag, not down the head.

Again? Was this the issue last year?

Now did I tell you that you need a boat with two heads or what?

....and if they use toilet paper it has to go in a zip-lock bag, not down the head.

That's a new one.....So you never drop toilet paper in the head or is this just for Joe?

Just for Joe, I don't want him filling up my holding tank. Otherwise I'll have to get in the dinghy and go find the pumpout boat.

Oh this brings back some memories...

Pumpout boats may be in short supply due to budget cuts....just saying....

Yes it does, Alex,,,, no everything in the boat is either new, or working and a check of the systems shows the vacuum pump not activating. I emailed the shop the elec diagrams and I hope it's not a module!!!! If it is I'm taking her to Zachs without a working head, they'll have to hold it in all day!!!! I passed on the two head boats for a seperate shower on the starb side,,,, now I want 2 heads!!!!

Oh, I thought you were kidding about the head. Well then, my head is your head, and you don't have to use a zip-lock

So does that mean your still in?? You all finished? If not I should have room for you and your wife and dog ill be passing your marina on the way back from fi to zacks so a quick pickup is no big deal if you so please. Ill drop you off on the way back also. . Lemme know.

Ok well for all you expert navigators ive been plotting and charting and charting and plotting. Cant make up my mind to run in or out to fi inlet next thursday. This hole sandy bs has me worried. If it were you what would you do. Now if you pick in would you please tell me (or post a pic would be amaziing) of the route you would take from freeport to dunewood fi. I have 3 choices.
1 head north right after the bridge just west of zacks bay then through the s turns to eventually head east along the north coast of gsb
2 keep heading east after the bridge along the state channel then north through one of the cuts then east along the nirth coast of the gsb
3 just run the state channel all the way and deal with 2 hours of no wake .
Im not in any rush to get there so no wakes don't bother me.
Watcha think?

Thats perfect that was my normal route last season the only issue I have is my timing puts me at ammityville cut at 1 hour before low tide and honestly im scared of the cut at high after what I've herd. What would be your second choice. I really like the run up north because of the ability to stay on plane the entire way but im not familiar with the waters if I head north right after the bridge by zacks. Im good with the markers but there are a couple areas that are not marked on the charts and show under 5 ft of water according to the charts. Thanks again joe I know im a pain in th ars but it really helps.
Lemme know about a ride to zacks if you wana come hang out on the kiddy boat
Head open and a case of guiness with you name on it

Joe, have you tried follow the line and test all the connections? I would go backwards from the pump to the panel. Blown/corroded fuse, maybe?

Alex she is at the repair facility , having work done, since I have the eplex system the guys aren't that familiar with it , I think it's something simple they are missing it all worked done last season and The modules and pumps are mounted a lot higher than the water that got in. So they're not damaged, I'm waiting on the new generator to go in this week and then detailing , of the head isn't fixed I told him
to jump it out and ill use a toggle switch for the weekend .

It sounds like you have the whole crew of folks working on her. Someone should be able to find the cause.
