I am an admin on FB group Sea Ray Classics and none of the group is public and must pass a couple of questions to enter. But one nice feature is you can put a poster on probation and there post's need to be approved first. Yep, more work but keeps the scammers/bots out.

I am an admin on a FB group for church technical production people also. I am pretty tight on who I admit. I do get quite a few people who fake the questions and are digital creators/scammers. They get banned.

pictures and other things that were lost in the hack will ever be restored?

I am not aware of any that are not restored. Can you point to some. Make sure they photos that are not hosted remotely.

I forgot about this thread. Anyway, when I look at New Posts I get pop-up ads in between each thread that takes up the page with only 5 threads showing. I was hoping it was just a glitch yesterday. Nope still happening.
