Nascar

Hey hey hey….. I resemble that remark… Lexus owner here about to buy another …. Don’t knock it until you tried it

I’ve had several Honda’s in the past and liked them.

Foyota pushing its way into nascar just really bugs me. ( but NOT when they crash:):):)).

We are getting more immersed in Nascar by the day. My son coaches Kevin Harvicks son. Harvick mentors my son. My son is now coached by Ron Hornaday. We went to the truck race at Daytona friday and more people knew my son there than would know him anywhere we could go locally. He just turned 13 and will be practicing in one of our TA2 cars by the end of the summer.

We are at the point now when his long term future depends on corporate support. So if any of you know any higher ups at a big corporation that want to get behind someone in racing and climb the ladder with us, then please let me know so I can send my kid out to interview with them.

As for racing in circles goes, we have always done the left and right thing with him, but last year started doing some asphalt oval stuff since those are the only drivers that really get paid to do what they do. I though it would be boring, but I find it so interesting. The drivers never really get a break. Always battling for every inch.

The new Cup cars are pretty darn nice in person. Sound good too.

I just watched the race….FF thru most of it until the last 20 laps…..what a great race

How fast he has grown! I still remember the proud papa videos you played us at SR homecoming. Congratulations on getting this far. We will keep watching his growth…

I watched the race on dvr last night. I was pulling for Keselowski but he was too aggressive with the cars he was pushing. Been a Roush fan since I bought my first Roush Mustang. A 428R. I also pull for Penske and Hendrick. This picture is from 2008.

Anything up on the top line was squirrelly when pushed.

Logano is pretty bad but I think Hamlin is the worst. Don't think I have ever heard of him taking the blame for anything and is always the first to point the finger. Joey isn't much better. But I agreed Brad was way too aggressive. The worst overall is Stenhouse. Seems he wrecks in about 80% of his races and most of the time it's his fault. In fact didn't Roush bench him for awhile early on cause he was crashing too many cars? I'm not a fan of Roush. I think he was his own worst enemy when it came to his team. Seemed like a control freak that wouldn't let anyone else do anything yet he was behind the times when it came to engineering. Never met the guy but seems like he felt he was always the smartest person in the room even to his own detriment

Sucks that Harvicks Ford hit the wall, but at the minimum two Foyotas will be unable to run qualifying and have to start from the rear at Fontana :p:D:D

Fontana is such a boring race. I wish they’d find another track or make this one not as wide. You can go 10 wide and not have an incident there.

Maybe not so much with these new cars. They were all sliding/spinning everywhere.

Good chance of seeing a bunch of Toyota (Ugly) Racing Development cars (T.U.R.Ds) smack the wall :):):)

You guys have clearly never owned a Toyota product…. I switched from a dedicated GM guy due to poor quality and would never go back to a North American product again

GM. There’s you problem :cool::p

Shoulda gone Fix Or Repair Daily :D

I’ll be first to admit I don’t always buy American, although I do try to, but buying Nip is nearly as bad as buying Chinese IMO.
