First here is the story of my purchase. I found this boat on CL. The owner who started the restoration sunk some money into it. He had a massive stroke and is now in a nursing home. This guys wife passed away unexpectedly about a year ago. The house and everything else went to the son who got a cash offer on the house and needs to liquidate everything asap so he can get rid of the house. He had no interest in the boat what so ever. Just wanted it gone. This is a list of BRAND NEW items that the original owner bought for the boat. All of it has never seen the water. Raymarine C80 with DSM300 with transducer 4kw dome, GPS antenna. Raymarine VHF radio and antenna. Custom stainless steel hardtop tower with lots of rod holders. New enclosure canvas. New 2500 wt inverter. Brand spanking new complete Mercrusier 496MAG motor with Bravo III outdrive and stainless steel props. Interior was redone but need new carpet and some trim refinished. Hull and transom is solid as a rock. Bottom need to be scraped sanded and painted. Hull is dirty from sitting a couple years and needs a good buff and wax. Oh ya, did I mention I paid 4k for it

great deal, have fun putting it together this winter. You will learn a lot about the boat while doing it. Was he a salt or fresh water boater? did engine come with new exhausts?? Must have because that is not the original engine I don't believe.
Good Luck, and send along some pictures when you get a chance.

This in not my first boat. I have an older 260. So I know whats involved. Motor is brand new with 0 hours. Complete from top to props. Exhaust everything is new.

Ya his son said that he hates to see it go. He had a couple of dealers wanting to buy it and part it out. I told him his dad will see it finished on the water again someday.

Now I have to find a trailer.

Nice package ,that should run like a go fast boat.

Hello…..love the 270 DA owners. I have been working on mine for like 2 1/2 years. You can review my photo bucket if you like. Although, I need to organize and update it one of these days. Currently, I am working DC wiring reorganizing and updating battery cables and such. Next up is the helm new panels and wiring. Just finishing up speakers boxes with tai veener. If you have questions let me know.
Mike
