My boating done for year

Glad to hear. Hopefully her recovery continues to progress quickly.

Let me know when she starts, I’ll come up and help you out.

My daughter was in an accident last August. Mild compared to your wife. She had a concussion and a black eye. We are still trying to get her medical bills paid by the at fault insured. I haven't gone the legal route but may need to. We are getting threatening letters from collections agencies.

Luckily, it isn't my credit, she's 19. But I will go that route if we have to. The weird part is State Farm (at fault insured) reached out to us 1st!! Then failed to pay since then.

Oh man, that sucks, i did not want to go the lawyer route but their USAA is claiming no fault; after she got multiple tickets from cops and cameras show she ran the light. So we hired a shark. He said good news. Once they claim no fault, the limits on their insurance liability no longer apply. We intend to rape this batch and USAA.
What Clint say in that movie “sometimes you just gotta get down right mean”.
What they don't know how to review camera footage? WTF

Wife and I discussed this morning. We got our first bill from hospital. Its only $21 but i told wife if i dont pay, they will send to collections and ruin our excellent credit. So she called the lawyer. He said “Do not pay anything. Bundle up all invoices and bring to me weekly. I will take care of it.”Maybe its time you find a shark. What they say… Every body hates lawyers except the one representing you.
Don't pay, but don't ignore. Let the providers know that the situation is in dispute/litigation and they'll get a check from the insurance company. That should stop any collections BS.

I suspect that is what the lawyers will do. I hate it had to come to this. Apparently some people don’t want to be responsible for their actions. I’m about to teach them the error of their ways.
Insurance companies suck!
Flat out suck. They pretty much refuse to be fair on any claim.
I hope you're able to take them to the cleaners, and I'm not a sue happy person either.
Also, I would be careful what you put on here about her condition, or pretty much anything about the accident.

Absolutely stop talking about the case or anything pertaining to the legalities.

No, insurance companies do not suck. I previously shared I worked in insurance claims my first 3 years out of college. If our insured denied fault, even with a recorded statement and/or deposition and/or a ticket, we had to stand behind them until we could absolutely prove different. Sometimes we did go against our insured, but it was rare and we had to have our ducks in a row before we did.

Think about it, if you were not at fault and your insurance company paid the claim, how would you feel?

Sucks you had to go that route. That said, it is very unlikely that the insured had any say in what stance USAA took. There are too many crappy insurance companies out there that will go to great lengths to avoid paying claims. I hate that USAA appears to be going the same route as The f'n General.

Insurance companies do in fact suck.
As far as USAA is concerned, a friend has them, his truck was stolen, he had to hire a mediation company to get close to what it was worth because they were screwing him with the amount they were willing to pay.
I've dealt with them enough myself that I stand by my statement that they suck.
