Membership question

So my membership expired without my knowledge and all of a sudden this advertising showed up along the right hand side of the page.

So now everytime I log on I have this woman in a red bikini showing me how to remotely raise my dingy ....

So my question is if I pay my dues she will disappear right?... That seems a little counterintuitive to the cause is what I am thinking

I have control over what user levels see ads. I actually like to see ads so I have them activated for my user level (admin). But they are not activated for those that donate. And they are active for the THOUSANDS that don't donate. I will gladly turn them on for the sponsor membership levels but I can't imagine the flack I would get. i can hear it now "the popups are taking over my computer!!!"
