Hi All, I have a 2004 Sundancer 280 and the Solenoid in the Engine compartment for the Windlass "clicks" when I press the Windlass button on the helm. Tomorrow my plan is to get my multimeter down there and do some measurements. Also important to note that the foot switches on the bow also do not work. There is no power (and no sounds) in the anchor compartment.

I noticed the the relay only has one fuse but the spec sheet says it needs two. I'll take a look at that tomorrow also.

Any help would be appreciated. Just bought this boat, my first boat, and looking for the experts to guide me :)

I had the same problem. I believe if you look on the port side in the engine compartment going forward a little bit you’ll see a switch looks like a lever. If you flip it up it’ll snap back down and it will reset your anchor motor power. Generally, this usually happens as a safety when there’s too much tension or stress on the motor. At least in my case that was the problem. Hope this is of some help.
