Long Island and surrounding areas Winter Gathering in Port Jefferson

Sorry I'm a little late guys, been away for the weekend.... We would be available on the 25th providing I decide to come back from Miami!:smt043 We will be flying back Friday or Saturday morning. Maybe I will fly directly to Republic Airport If my Wife can deal without going home first, I would stay at Danfords.

Todd, We would love to come, but we are away every weekend skiing until the end of Mar... We have relatives on the "Island" and next time we are out that way we plan to stop by your place... I am sure the food is great, and you can't beat the location...

Rod, sorry to hear you will be roughing it on the slopes, can't take one weekend off? If your not coming to the summer meet this may be the only oppportunity to get together this year- would be good to see you guys, hope you can figure out one of them!

I would take off, but my daughters race on the mountain's ski team, and we have race this week end...

Late afternoon is great, like Dave said, name the time and that's it- we will be there. We will probably head over in the AM, check in and rome around town maybe get a little pre-game practice in.
 
Hey guys,

I updated page one with the roster. Please let me know if I omitted anyone or included someone who won't be there. I spoke with Paul by phone, who's whole household is sick right now, and got a verbal commitment. I told him we need to see him on here to make it official!!

Alex-I included you based on your post regarding 2/25. I hope that you can make it.

I am figuring around 4 pm to put out the buffet. That will give people time to get here and get settled in if they are coming from out of town. The food is on me guys and you're on your own regarding cocktails. I figure that we can start at "Tommy's Place" and then roam the streets in search of alcoholic beverages after we eat- I believe the term is "Pub Crawl". I look forward to seeing everyone and getting a relaxing night of drinks and boating BSing!
Hey, rumor has it that my wife is even making an appearance this time!!

BTW: If anyone else wants to come just post up here and I will add you to the list. All CSR folks are welcome!

FYI, Anybody who was not invited to stay over at Todd's house...:smt021:smt043 I just made reservations at Danfords Inn and they have a deal that if you prepay for the night it is only $89!! :smt038 (+tax), If you don't want to prepay you can get it for $107, still a bargin considering I have had friends in the summer stay here and they paid almost $250 a night. So Todd we are comming, I have $89 invested!!:grin:

Larry, What is the policy if there is sever weather? Not that I am even thinking like that. I expect it to be 70 degrees and sunny!!:lol:
