Thanks for the info First Born.

Do you know if this is open to all Sea Ray owners or only owners who purchased from LWM?

Do you know where the gathering will be?

Thanks,

Kendall

If I am not mistaken open to all boaters...not only Sea Ray Owners....not just those that purchased from Lake Wylie Owners...all boaters!!! Dave S correct me if I am wrong.

Last year was at the power squadron....details for this year have not been posted yet.

Wesley

I did not purchase my boat at LWM but am a customer and did not have any trouble registering nor did I see a disclaimer. I also know other Sea Ray owners who have gone in the past that did not purchase at LWM. I would think part of the idea would be they want to maintain relationships with existing customers and try to create new relationships with others. If Dave S does not know for sure, you could just call Larry at LWM. I have been told it is a good time.

As far as I remember, it's open to all boats, makes, whatever. I brought a couple with me last year, or maybe couple of years back, that owns a Triton walkaround fishing boat. Part of the party is to expose other boat owners to Sea Rays. Then maybe they'll be so overwhelmed they will buy one of the boats on display at the event. I'll try to attend, but you know I have become a Lake Norman snob now! LOL. Mike

Hi,

I just registered for the event. I hope we can attend...we will just be returning from the beach, after a weeks' vacation. Hope to meet all of your there!

Wes, it looks like we might be able to join ya if thats ok. I might even talk a friend into comming. He has a Chaparral though.

Will look into it a little more and let ya know. We would love to raft up with ya.

Hello,

We will be there but sadly without our Sea Ray - will you still let us tie up? :)

Look forward to seeing you all again.

I think you are OK no matter what boat you arrive in as long as you didn't previously own a Sea Ray then sell out and buy a Chris Craft!!

Thank you for registering for Lake Wylie Marina's Aqua Palooza 2009. The entire staff of Lake Wylie Marina looks forward to spending the day with you and your families and friends on the lake.
Registration will be from 10:00am till 2:00pm in the Lake Wylie Marina showroom. You must register at our showroom during this time to receive your t-shirts and meal tickets. I am sorry, but t-shirts will only be given to those registrants that qualified for the offer from Sea Ray. You will also be given a map at registration to the Charlotte Power Squadron's " Merit Mark Point " where the event will be held. " Merit Mark Point " is approximately 2 miles south of the marina on Beaver Dam Creek. The idea is to come by water, but you are free to come by land if you wish. When you arrive at " Merit Mark Point " we would like for you to anchor near shore or beach your boat near the facility. There are a few docks there, but I would ask that you leave them open for boats coming in and out to get lunch or to use the rest rooms. We will begin serving lunch at 1:00 pm. We will have tables and chairs set up in the shade, so please come ashore to enjoy your meal. The menu will include: grilled chicken quarters, baked beans, cole slaw, rolls and hot dogs for the kids if they do not eat chicken. Please bring your own beverages. We will not have any drinks to serve with the meal. The band, "The Red Hots", will play from 1-5. They play a mix of rock n roll, blues and dance music.
Some of our staff will be out in boats to assist you as best as they can. They will also have some prizes to give away, so show your Sea Ray pride!
Please give me a call or send an email if you have any questions. See you next Saturday.
Larry Bunch

I plan to be be there but I will be driving over to the PS and not bringing the boat. See you all on shore.

Dave

Wes, how is the best way to find ya for a raft up? I still don't have a raidio.

By the way, we are registered and will leave around 7am which should put us there in 2 hours.

Qustion on the registration, do you dock and head up to the registration area?

Looking forward to it.

Dave, it will be nice to see ya. Wish ya had the boat, and I am sure your not bringing the SS.

yeah, if you are using the ramps that I told you about (we should arrive at the ramps around 10:00) you will follow that out to the main channel, directly across the channel you will see Lake Wylie Marina. Last year we pulled up and docked and then headed up for registration. After registering we headed out to PS for the festivites.

Dave, sorry to hear you are not coming by boat.

Wesley

Wes, we will be there around 10 as well if not earlier. We will look for ya. I am sure your SR will stand out to my eye. Dumb question, what's the PS?

Thanks. We are definetly using the ramp you suggested. What is the best way to get there? We will take 85, 485. to 77S. What exit off 77 do you take? Is that the way you head over to Copperhead Access area?(from 77)

We may not be able to make Aquapalooza after all. Something has come up that will take precedent but if we can work around that then maybe we can still stop in for awhile at the PS.:smt089

$20 dollars says Dave comes by...by boat

(JK...don't email me asking for your money if I am wrong)
