Should be up there Friday. Looking forward to bouncing around the Apostles!
BEAUTIFUL!! Love it when it's glass like that. Are you anchoring off of Isle Royal?Hope you have a great time. The weather has been a little unsettled rain wise, but little wind. Left Bayfield this morning, we are about 1/2 way to Isle Royale as I tap this out, can’t believe I have a cell signal out here. Lake is like a mirror. You boat in a great area! We loved the Apostles.

Yes, a week ago last Friday, blew hard. We were in Marquette, securely tied to a dock and sampling some beers at Blackrocks and The Ore Dock.Lake Superior is never that calm when I go up there. Last friday the wind was coming out of the west at 30mpg. We had to tuck into Julian bay until Saturday morning when the wind finally died down. It’s been my dream to spend a week cruising around Isle Royal.
June 6th. We blew through Lake Erie in one day, been there. Fog on Huron slowed us a little, wanted to get up here fast, got to the Soo a week after we left. You guys sure know how to put some miles on that boat! When did you leave Erie?
LOL, I’ll have to let the admiral decide, she’s the freighter guru.Mark,
If you look at my profile pic, it looks like I have the same ore ship in the distant background. Same pilothouse profile. LOL!!
I'm anchored off of Sand Island in that photo.

Now we’ve slowed down. Cocktail cruising and 2-3 days in each town we visit, except we just spent 5 days in Bayfield and the Apostles, couldn’t fit it in in less.
It looks like it’s going to be beautiful for the next 7-10 days with light winds. I’m going to be spending 4 days circumnavigating Door county.Looks like you could have done it today . I hope its like that most of next week
