Lake Lanier thread

No, Bullfrogs is the restaurant/bar poolside at the Emerald Pointe Resort (they just changed the name to something Lodge). They have totally re-done the whole thing and it really looks great. I was the Director of Purchasing there for several years and since I left in 2003, the place has really changed for the better. Bullfrogs reminds me of something you would see in New England with a large grey circular bar, cedar shingled roof... It just looks great. I haven't been over to this Tiki Bar so I don't know what to expect. But anything is better than the options we have now.

The nice thing is they have finally tried to accommodate boaters. If you show up at their harbor/tiki bar, or at the hotel docks, call them and they will send a shuttle down to take you wherever you want to go on the islands.

Hey Guys, This is my first post on here, I just bought a "new to me" Sea Ray Seville from a buddy of mine and I'm a Lanier Guy as well. I've been out several times this year and always see a ton of SR's on the water, the lake is a bit low but it's not bad at all. The worst part about the water levels is if you trailer your boat and the limited access to the lake with so many ramps being closed. Hope to see some of you guys out there, just look for the little Sea Ray with the Georgia Bulldogs wrap- that's me!

We tried out the tiki bar last week, it's all outdoors and basically just chairs/picnic tables (hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken fingers for the most part) but they are well located with nice slips, the picnic tables have umbrellas and they have frozen drinks. Haven't tried any of the other places yet (Bullfrogs, etc.) but the Tiki bar definitely is on our list.

Regards,
Jason

I have no idea what the last post was.I left this page up on the lap top and my niece told me this morning that she may have sent something.
