Keowee 2009 Labor Day?

10:30 is fine with us, I will be ready to go, in fact I am leaving the office in about an hour and we are headed to the marina.

What channel on the radio do we want to communicate on,and we will be rady to go.

Did somebody say Bloody Mary's!!! I may just have to run down to the Marina for them. I hope to be heading over that way in a couple hours myself.

Chuck,

I will bring one to you, I will PM my cell phone to you, if you get over near the marina give me a call.

We had a great time with Chuck and family on Lake Jocassee. The only hick-up was a long line at the ramps. Saw a few waterfalls. We've never had the boat in 300+ft of water. The views were incredible and the company fantastic. We can't wait until tomarrow to meet the est of the Sea Ray Keowee gang.

G/T

Lake Jocassee was good, but the company was better. Found all the waterfall, but only two had enough water to be impressed. Greg & Tonya we had a great time. Greg I do have some pictures of you backing down the lake, must have been the pain killers at the top of ramp.(Grin) Looking forward to seeing everybody today on Keowee. Did I hear somebody say cake.

WoWsErS,
What a great day of boating, sight seeing, and friends. The raft up was awsome, the cliff jumping was awsome and the company was awsome. Jane, the cake was great, again. Paul, let me know where you got the antenna.

We wanted to thank everyone for the hospitality. We had a wonderfull time.

We had a great time today. Ryan was the consumate host having found a great spot to raft up after a good trip up the lake. Water was a warm 87 degrees for swimming and cliff jumping. Patrick you have hutspaw jumping off the cliff. Jane and I enjoyed talking to everyone and eating cake. We still have a piece or two left for Nicky to come get.

I use a GAM antenna. I like this for the compact loading coil along with the low SWR that is available. I did find out today it does not work very well when you are not on the correct channel. Check here: http://www.gamelectronicsinc.com/

You need a SS-2 and a mounting adapter ADAP-II. I used a Shakespear rachet mount 4188-S along with a 6 inch extension. Check here: http://www.shakespeare-marine.com/mountsindex.asp?findmount=rail

Check with Jim to buy the four pieces that you need. Here is a thread I did a couple of years ago on this:

Awesome time!!!! Other than my oldest getting lake sick for a while we had a great time. Capt. Ryan chose another great raftup spot. RingyDingy made a great Bloody Marry and Hand Delivered it going up the lake. Now who was driving the boat? Charley's boy Patrick is the cliff jumping champion. Oh ye, Nicky you missed some great cake Jane out did herself. Greg and Tonya felt like we have been friends for year, we enjoyed boating with you all this weekend. I'll try to get some pictures posted soon. Needless to say we had a great time seeing old friends and making new one. More to come.....

I was looking forward to meeting you Wesley. I hope to catch you next time.

SunBarges can attend. I understand it has a generator for the blender.

At least this SunBarge comes fully loaded. I did not hear any complaints when I broke out the grill and then turned the power on so we could pump up the toys:grin: Next time just have to bring the Microwave so we can reheat the sausage balls.

Good seeing everyone again and nice meeting the Keowee locals. Thanks for the local tour including the waterfalls, dodge the canbote, and a perfect spot for the raft up. Sunday night must have been a great night on the hook. Yes, the SB was very well equipped, grill, 110VAC for the compressor, towables, and a ton of food. Sorry we couldn't polish it all off. The water clarity of Keowee is simply amazing. It even motivated Paul to do some detailing!

Take care.
