Im drinking...

Beefeaters, rocks and 2 olives.

On the boat, Bud Select or heine light. Boulevard Wheat off the boat.

Bill - Keep fighting the good fight. All boating all the time = boring.

Greg,

When someone says that to me, I look puzzled for second, and then go huh, I always thought of it as Paige as the lucky one. I know it is not true but it is funny to see their face after saying it.

Wesley

Good one Wesley. What can I say. We've been together 13 years. I'm her 1st husband so I must have done something right.
The fact that she has 4 grandchildren (from her step-sons) is a bit of a sticking point sometimes. And I'm only 7 years older than her.

way cute...a keeper...stop drinking so much and pay more attention to your mate!

:huh:Maybe she's attracted to Bud Light???? Greg could be onto something:lol:

At the end of the day, when we've tied up or anchored, it's likely to be a Bud Lite. At home before dinner, often a Sam Adams for me and a Tequiza for her. If we're celebrating (and we like to find excuses to celebrate!) I'll usually pour a single malt for each of us; I keep several in the bar cabinet, right now Bunahabbin, Balvenie 12, Strathisla, and Dalwhinnie.

I thought you had to drink Jack Daniels if you live in Tennessee.

I have some Jack Daniels in the bar cabinet for guests who request it, but my cranium handles a good single malt better; but some cheap scotches are worse on the noggin by far than a good Tennessee whiskey.

By the by, if I'm really celebrating, I'll go out on the screen porch (at home) or the cockpit (afloat) and light up a CAO Anniversaire to go with my beverege of choice.

CAN YOU BELIEVE some jackass actually gave me a negative comment for this thread?

"What does this have to do with boating"?

OH. MY. GOD.

To the arsehole who is holier than now, THIS IS THE HOLDING TANK first of all, and if you look at half the threads, not sure what they have to do with boating either, and secondly,

BEER HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH BOATING!

sheesh. Get the stick out of your butt and just enjoy life

Probably the same "LOSER" that keeps his shore power cord danglin in the water to keep spiders off his boat.

I perfer this... *** However I don't allow any booze on the boat*** Sorry, just my rule. Sitting at the dock is fine, but no booze while out on the water.

Mark,

Let me make sure I understand (even though I don't disagree with you) but you invite guest to come take a ride on a beautiful boat named Captain Morgan but then you tell them they can not bring any alcohol on board while in the water.

Back the truck up (beep beep beep)

No booze on the boat while cruising? What about if you are going to raft up for a couple of hours?

Maybe Im just insane, but my checklist for the boat is:

drain plug in
all fluids are checked
beer in the cooler
ice

You got it! (The boat was already named when we bought it) I do like Captain and Coke! and Jack and Coke! :smt101

I lost 2 friends to boating accidents due to drinking. :smt009

The few people we take out often, completley understand. Even when me and the guys go fishing, they understand also.

If rafting up, others can drink (not on my boat)... I'll just drink my Vitamin Water.

Sorry, don't mean to be a thread killer...

Doesn't "beer in the cooler" fall under "all fluids checked"?

No such thing as a thread killer with me, dont worry.

Hmmm...I am sorry for losing 2 friends to boating accidents. Understandable, to a degree, why you dont drink while driving.

However, I am in the camp that does not allow outside influences and experiences to sway what I do with my life. My father was a cop killed in the line of duty, but I have a gun. My grandfather died of diabetes, but I eat cookies, wife's dad died of lung cancer, but Ill still have a smoke.

So while I can empathize with your reasoning, it is hard for me to comprehend why you wouldnt do something you enjoy because of someone else.

Just my .02, meaningless except to me lol

And I guess you dont want to come to our big raft up next saturday (july 19th) then, I was going to see if you wanted to join in:smt001

Always take at least a 12 pack of Sam Adams Seasonal Summer Ale. Very good tasting beer on warm summer days. My wife likes one or two Landsharks (Jimmy Buffet Lager) otherwise it is water and soda. Beer on the boat is the best tasting beer no matter where else i drink it. Just happens that way. Beautiful weekend shaping up here in Maryland this weekend!

Have a great day!

Hey, I'm still boating! I go stir crazy in the winter..... :smt089
This is going to sound gay... Being on the water is my "high".

Next year will be a definate meeting up for a day on Zoar. By then, I will have more "trust" in my trailer.

Nope, not gay at all dood, I get it. Each to their own and I wont judge. The exception is if you were like into midget donkey fisting or something weird like that...then I MAY judge...

Whenever you want to drop in zoar let me know. I can get you in at the Oxford ramp Im sure...few $ to the kids there. We have a blast in the raft ups and the little excursions from the raft up to do a little while of tubing, wakeboarding or skiing.
