Im drinking...

When we go out, we bring Mike's, Landshark and Coronas with us. We were talking this weekend about drinking and how we've toned down a lot, after hearing about some of the DUI/BUI accounts in our area in the past.

There was an instance back on 7/4/2002 on the lake, where 2 kids drowned when their boat capsized, a sad story.

My wife also drinks that margarita-type beer, but it's too weird for me.
At home, it's either Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, or Jamesons, depending on the mood...

Hmmm...I am sorry for losing 2 friends to boating accidents. Understandable, to a degree, why you dont drink while driving.

However, I am in the camp that does not allow outside influences and experiences to sway what I do with my life. My father was a cop killed in the line of duty, but I have a gun. My grandfather died of diabetes, but I eat cookies, wife's dad died of lung cancer, but Ill still have a smoke.

So while I can empathize with your reasoning, it is hard for me to comprehend why you wouldnt do something you enjoy because of someone else.

Thanks...it is actually a case study that the Suffolk COunty Police dept on Long Island learn about. He was shot by his partner by accident going to a domestic dispute. I was 8, my brother was 2.

Blue Moon is fantastic. I like their different season releases as well. All very different, but same 'smoothness' when goin' down.

One thing I can say about Canadian beer, is their alcohol content is rated differently or something. Wow, they can knock you on your rear.

yup.. and love them both. I'm also a big fan of Anchor Liberty Ale and Alimony Ale (the bitterest beer in america)

I stick with bottled water until I'm tied up at the dock, but once I get settled in I look forward to a good Bombay Saphire and Tonic with a wedge of Lime.
