When are people going to get it, stop all the petty politics, and figure out a way we can get our country back from these bastards. They are beholden to no one but their rich friends and corporations when it comes to running our country and if you really believe electing a republican in 2012 is going to change anything, I got some nice swampland for sale. And Obama being re-elected would be no better.

And you seemed to have missed my entire point on the racial overtones in your previous post. You say you're not a racist, which is all good and I believe you, but your written words, read by someone who doesn't know, don't reflect that. That's all I was trying to say. Possible solution: tell everyone you know (that has a job) to change their pay witholding to the maximum deduction. When tax time comes inform the IRS that you need a payment schedule. Those idiots just may have a harder time spending money when even less is coming in
 
I could say Obummer is not welcome in central PA! 500 people showed up to see Joe Biden and 14,000 showed up to see Sarah Palin on the same day and time. Do you think he would be welcomed? It's about politics....not race. Would he be welcomed in Philly....sure they all voted for him because their smart city people who know it all and have their hand out for free stuff, Mike.

Every tax cut in our history generates greater revenues. Whose money is it? The governments and they let you keep some of it or yours and we can have a legitimate discussion of how much is reasonable for you to pay to the government?

Block grant to states are not Obummercare.

I have not heard anywhere that Fox news made up a story and it is proven to be a conspiracy or otherwise. I was truly interested in what "story" he was quoting. He started by saying we all place misinformation on here to fire people up when he, in fact, did exactly that!! He never answered my inquiry in his next post. Back it up with facts man, back it up!!

I also stated that MSNBC ( Chris Matthews & Keith ( I shoulda stayed at ESPN) Olberman) were quoted as saying " I'm getting a chill up my leg" as Obama was elected. NO OTHER ANCHOR on any station was that blatant about their bias on the air and that is why those bozo's were replaced that night. This was over 2 years ago and the other poster said he had only come to realize "within the last year or so" that MSNBC was biased. I think maybe you should talk to him. He's the one drinking Kool-aide. I understand the angle the different networks take but, thank you for pointing it out!

I, like Scott, have liberal friends and I enjoy our discussions. They never get heated or ugly as is so common from a keyboard coming from god knows where? I figure I can get the otherside of the coin from the liberal media outlets filtered through them.

I agree that BOTH parties suck, but how do you dispose of all of the congress and the senate too? I have no idea! I know that you cannot run your personal finances on a credit card, never mind a country. That is my biggest problem with the current regime! They keep borrowing to pay for things they cannot afford. that is why I consider myself a conservative. Don't spend it if you don't have it!! Simple math here. Someday we may see a new thread here titled "Look what the bank left behind when they repoed Airforce One" !!

Evidence please. Btw: you will also need to show that increased taxes reduce revenue, or I will question your data. Your basic assumption is that reduced taxes cause significant economic growth. Is that true- or coincidental ( ie revenue goes up due to good economy- then taxes are cut)

Assuming you are correct, this assumes that this would be the SOLE SOURCE of all of our domestic oil production. Using that logic, it doesn't make sense for us to do any domestic production.
