That's an even dozen. Gary, you had to get at least a C in entry econ to understand that.
This is the irony of all this. People that feel for the moo-moo girls are probably hypocrites. I'll give you an example... let's say you are getting a new roof on your house. Do you get multiple bids? All things being equal, do you choose the lesser quote? Well... is that fair? What if all the roofers got together and did "roofing price fixing?" Oh wait... that's not legal... So if you do that in the management of labor for your own finances, why is it wrong to do that with labor for your business?
Give me a break...
Maybe the moo-moo girls should "choose" to go to night school once a month instead of meeting once a month in a b!tch session about their boss.
So is this part what differs the right from the left?? If so then...YEAH I would ask what is wrong with increasing the bottom line? All services have a value and customers are only going to pay so much or they take their business elsewhere. I don't see why this is hard for people to figure out.Like any good capitalist he would never miss an opportunity to increase his bottom line!
I don't think that is the case. I question why people who are broke and needing a job always seem to think they should be running the company and worried about what the owner is making after only a short time of employment:huh: The thread turned long ago, so what difference is it now:smt021:grin:Not sure what we are talking about anymore. The current theme appears to be "Anybody not running their own business only merits $0.40/hr". I do not feel like contributing to this theme at this time. Not quite the taxes and gasoline topic this thread started out as.

You forgot one!! I just found out about my Seminole County tangible property tax Now all my personal tools and tool boxes I have had for years (all Snap On and not cheap) are subject to annual tax. So I paid sales tax on my $18k rotary screw compressor, $100K CNC Router (which I have to ammortize), all my used computers (because I couldn't afford new ones to start) , printers, furniture, software, and everything else it takes to run a shop:smt021 I didn't know I had to pay taxes to use my personal tools I have had for years  And libtards want to flip crap!! It's crazy how much I pay in taxes to work and watch people who don't work collect:smt021:smt021:huh:So let's do a little math just to show how "greedy" business owners/CEO's are...
Let's say I decide to start a company... I put in $100,000 of my own money. I spend $30,000 with a law firm to organize the company (file all the right paper work, maybe take some investments, etc), buy $30,000 of software and computer hardware, rent some office space and dump $20,000 in that for some new walls and furniture and spend $20,000 on a booth I can take to trade shows and advertise. OK... that's $100,000.
Now I go out and hire 3 people for $50,000/year but that's really like $60,000 a year with all the benefits loaded in.
Now... the first year... well.. Selling at the beginning of the year is slow so I have to put in another $100,000 to cover salaries and other "expenses." I put it in as a loan... but I'm out $200,000.
End of year, we pull in $600,000 in sales (that would be a freekin miracle if that happened but this is an example.)
So here's the budget:
$180,000 salaries
$40,000 expenses (rent, supplies, travel, etc)
$100,000 upfront startup expenses
$100,000 pay back loan
That leaves $180,000 left in the bank.
Guess how much Obama says I made? $280,000... why? Because the startup costs and equipment all have to amortized so that is really "profit" even though a used computer is worth zip. Even the lawyer fees for drawing up the company have to be amortized out over time and can't be written off. So I get taxed on $280,000... oh.. and I have to pay self-employment tax too... so my taxes will be on the order of $100,000 with state getting their cut.
So now my company has $80,000 left in the bank to pay me. Even though I'm a greedy rich guy that on paper made "$280,000"... But I can't really take the $80,000 out of the company to pay me because the company needs working capital... so I get zip... Obama gets $100K... employees get $180K... WEEEEEE!!!!!
~
Ha Ha...that CNC turns out an amazing amount of work with very little waste and it does not know how to text, steal or lie.. unlike moo moo gurlz:wow:If you can afford a CNC machine, you can afford more moo-moo girls.
No no no... The theme is "If you haven't run a business, then shut your pie hole on how to run a business."
See Corn Pop... Wikipedia can only take you so far in life. If you think having "profits" of $250K for the owner is "rich," then you are showing how naive you are (or mis-wiki-informed).
So let's do a little math just to show how "greedy" business owners/CEO's are...

If the numbers are THAT bad, I would suggest that you stick to making moo-moo's;
So my take away from your post is that I really want to be the guy you are paying $30k to file some forms . . .
