Hole in the Water Club

Yea im thinking of selling the 56 olds too.Ive driven it 3 times this summer and twice last summer since completeing it.13 years in the garage part time in the winter costs a lot of propane to heat for so little use.I just dont have time for two summer hobbies and i love boating more than cruising to a&w for a hot dog and root beer once a month.I will miss the car and the 300 but i will be able to spend more time and money on the water.Well hopefully not more money just a shift from remodeling things to gassing up and cruising the great lakes, and points beyond with the deisels.

must be the year to get rid of the cars..
I have 2 for sale right now..1959 Nash Metropolitan and a 50 Chevy custom Fleetmaster
Haven't decided whether to keep my 50 Jeepster yet since it isn't finished and it's part of the
memories I have working on it with my dad.

Well may have solved my issue with being short handed in the autoshop at work
and the guy is a Mercruiser Master tech
how fortuitous

Hole just keeps getting deeper.

I haven't had the dinghy on the boat for at least 12 months, put it on for the Sydney weekend. When we got back to the marina, we were all tired. So just tied it up.

We had a 38C day (101F) and I didn't go down to the boat.

Yep, blew one of the side seams out.

Ok I fed the God's too yesterday.

We were picking up a mooring, I was up the front sorting the bridle out. When I felt something and saw a flash of silver in the corner of my eye, as a magnet bracelet I wear on my right wrist sunk to the bottom. In 12M of ware with a soft mud bottom, I said goddbye to it.

I do hope that this offering appeases the God's somewhat!

You have had an expensive week Ian...LOL!

Greetings Glen,

Congrats on the find!

I'm at Edgewater Yacht Club - It's just to the west of downtown Cleveland.
Sima, as you said, is over in Eastlake about a half hour to forty minutes east of downtown.

I just dropped an email to a local surveyor that I know.
I'll get back to you with whatever he comes up with.

-Mike

Glen~
Congrats on you new boat...You happen to be in my hometown. I went to Eastlake North High School and I worked one summer at Sima's back in the day. J.R. Marine happen to be there in town. They are the folks who have a machine shop and make custom repair parts for outdrives. Many CSR folks have used them in the past. I'm working with Ron Bender now for a steering swivel for my boat. They're great people, perhaps they can steer you the right direction if help is needed... Bob

I will add them to my list of possible help neededs Bob thanks Glen
