Here we go again!

Cool! Good luck on walking. It's a chore here to go anywhere!

I'm like the 3rd or 4th boat in against the fence :)

So, how are all of you back East holding out? I have seen some video on the news and that storm was a doozy and I heard about many power outages. I hope everyone faired well. I can't even imagine...

My biggest scare yesterday was my lamp on the 57" DLP TV went out yesterday afternoon! A quick run to Fry's and $230 plus tax later we are back on track. :smt038

That's a good about the lamp! Especially considering the timing!

We're lucky to have power today. With the sun the snow "looks" awesome but the fact is - it's a pain to move around. I have more digging to do so I can at least make it out with the Jeep.

This storm was a biggie for sure.

Good to hear. If it were not for the fact I have to drag the wife to the airport and there's this little Superbowl thing, I would be on the water with pole in hand! It's supposed to be mostly sunny and high 50's today here.

Here's some more "aftermath" pictures from digging out myself, neighbors, and tunneling with my kids.

BTW, we're under another winter storm warning around here for Tuesday. Another 5-8" possible and the potentialy of yet another storm this weekend. UNCLE!

It was either the boat or a house in the Outer Banks. Hurricaines aren't looking so bad right now...

Sorry guys, shorts & flip flops today with sunshine and near 60 here. Chilly at night and needed my sweater though.

Not sure how much more I can take of this.:smt021 I am in Germantown, took till last night at 4 pm to get plowed out after 30 inches, and now dump another foot or so on top of this. I am just sick worrying about the boat. At least it is in dry dock. Cannot imagine what people are going through with boats still in the water.

I work with a guy who keeps his boat in year round up in Middle River. He says it doesn't freeze up there - though that's just south of us on the Gunpowder and from what I can tell it freezes there.

I brought my boat home from the marina Friday morning. Used the leaf blower every 2-4 hours to blow it off. My buddy had to walk 1/2 mile to get to our marina after the snow to clear his boat off. I am not looking forward to another storm. At least I can keep my baby here in the yard till this melts. Maybe in July. LOL
We finally just had a plow come through our court about an hour ago. The guy was exhausted. He's not ready for this week either but said the money is great.
Of Course.

Yep Dale here we go, when I was driving home down 70 tonight from Columbia it was horrible. Took me an hour and a half to get home. Saw a clip last night on the news where boats were sinking in Washington National Marina because no one cleaned the snow off the boats. The one thing I will say is Anchor Bay does a great job keeping the snow off as fast as they can. I was pleasantly surprised when we had the last big one in December, they got all of the boats cleaned in record time. Hope they can keep up this go.

Glad you made it down 70. If my boat sinks I'm in deep stuff (it's on the hard right now) :) I'll pass this on to my coworker. With the luck he's had with his boat that is all he would need.

I just received a phone call for Howard County government… They wanted to let me know we are having a blizzard. Oh really??

HA! My NOAA radio has issued a blizzard warning here. I can't see halfway down my yard and we have 2 acres.

All this snow is a major pain in the butt. Here in NE, it's been around since before thanksgiving. we've had 2 major blizzards, and are over 2 feet above normal.

It's just rotten cold here now, I can hardly take it anymore!

I feel for you, unfortunately it's not going anywhere any time soon...
