Well, another whopper of a storm has set it. It's been snowing since Friday afternoon here. We're up to about 24" and supposed to get over 30" by the time it ends tonight.

All I can say is... sick of it! Pictures to follow....

Yeah we feel for you out here on the West Coast. I watched the weather channel last night and that storm covers sooooo much of the country it's unbelievable!

Out here we keep getting a lot of rain but the temp is mid-50's.

Over 2 feet on the ground already with another 10 inches or so on the way.... Someone make it stop!!!

Bill,

Walk over and check on my boat...........just kidding, again.

Actually I'm coming down tomorrow to look around and take some pictures. These pics will be the first ones in my "2010 Boating" folder.

John,

Tried to get over there this morning but the power was out to the entire area. The gate would not open. Power just came on about an hour ago… I am going to try and get over there and knock the snow off the shrink wrap. It has got to be getting heavy. Roads are tough even for 4 wheel drive, better have real good tires. I don’t know how much better it will be by tomorrow as the plows have a lot better things to do then get to side streets now. If you do come by tomorrow stop over for a beer!

Cape May ounty has declared a state of emergency. The used reverse 911 and made automated calls to the residences. No going outside was the message. We have lost electricity about a dozen times, but it comes back on immediately. Can not see accross Cape May harbor because of blowing snow. Does not look like to much of an accumulation because it is blowing so hard. Our location on the harbor keeps the snow lower becaue it blowas into the harbor.

Come on spring

Here are some more shots... just think in a couple of months this will be a memory!

What happened to "Global Warming" I am all for it!
:)
We in SW CT go nothing at all..not a flake.
Be careful out there..

I have 8 foot piles that I made trying to clear out a portion of the driveway. I gave up when the tractor started crabbing in 4wd sideways. I am so done with this.

Bill where is your house in reference to the fence? Midway, closest to the shop, etc?

Whoa Bill you all got it bad down there!!! We ended up with just around 22". Cleared that out with the snowblower then carved a snow tubing track in the back yard for the kids..

Here's a few

Unbeliveable....I don't know how you guys do it.....I get crazy if we have over a week without some sun and at least 65* for a day or so. Here, we are at a time of year where it rains every 3-4 days.

Tomorrow, we are expecting sun (finally) and temps in the 55-60* range. I WILL take my boat out for a brief excercise. Just a spin around the lake will make us both feel better. You guys hang in there.

A spin around the lake even if only 30 seconds would be therapy!! I'm living through you right now :)

I should've noted in that post "one down, still a bottle to go" :) The olive went down very well. Based on what I saw last year the Lindsay family will fit in very well at GPC :)
