I can't remember the exact dimensions of the foam windshield screw cover on my boat (there were two different sizes of foam required for the windshield screw covers on my 1998 370), but I remember that I had to run it through my band saw to rip it down to size. It cut pretty good, not perfect, but the cut edge was completely up inside the channel and you did not see it. For extra watertightness, I also ran a bead of clear silicone caulk inside the channel between the foam and the metal windshield frame. I did this after the foam was installed, and used the tip of the caulk gun to "push" the foam back as I went along. The foam then re-expanded and nicely squeezed the silicone tight between the foam and the metal frame. The silicone is not really visible. Going on 3 years of use and holding up fine. FWIW the TaylorMade p/n for my windshield vent hinge cover was 8229900. If you PM me I will send you a PDF that Taylor provided showing me the part. The hinge cover was installed in about 10 minutes, just snaps right in.
