in the UK the massively-best-selling daily national newspaper is called The Sun. It is so influential that it has been credited with winning national elections. Like Fox News, it is owned ny Rupert Murdich. Since 1997 it has supported the Labour (democrat) party. Last month it ran a headline switching allegiance to the Conservative (republican) party. Just so you know.

Yeah, and that's why I watch them, I can't keep my food down when I'm watching the CBS/NBC/ABC/CNN news orgs at times. Especially CBS and NBC... I swear Katie Couric's got a love fest going for Obama.

Once in a while I'll go back and take a peek at CNN, get annoyed and switch FOX back on so I can hear a debate from both sides.

This is apparently the top priority in the White House.... I'm sure Obama is giving some direction - but then you have Rahm Emanuel and Anita Dunn spouting crap as well. Rahm's take is Fox is a channel which has a perspective - not an actual news channel. Now he's got other lemmings repeating this garbage.

I guess CNN doesn't have commentary with Larry King, Wolf and other and MSNBC doesn't have any either with Maddow and the other morons on that channel.

I see personal freedoms and free speech slipping away.... Good thing a bunch of retards in our country wanted change. Too bad the change couldn't be to just leave and go to a country which was already a socialist disaster.

I'm just a believer (as were our forefathers) in less government is better government.

As soon as anyone tries to shove laws down my throat that don't make sense, and try to take away money that I've worked hard for, to pay for those that sit on their asses, I have an issue with it.

I'm not discriminatory in any way against anyone that tries to pull that sh*t.

I had to give this question some thought-after about a minutes deep introspection- I would say all the democrat presidents from truman on were strongly disapproved of by most conservatives in this country.This current offering is possibly the worst of a generally sorry lot.:smt001

Clinton tried to be a liberal but got his ass handed to him on the Healthcare issue and then the conservatives won the midyear election so he came to the middle. Kennedy was more fiscally conservative than many would think. He actually cut taxes. But that was before welfare was implemented.

And I wonder why the freakin foreigners want to tell us how to run our country? or who should be our President? Just Curious :huh:
 
I certainly didn't vote for Clinton but I actually felt the Pres being one party and Congress being another is the best balance. It forces both sides to work things out instead of just trying to railroad things through. Clinton was also good for news stories and late night comedy..... That said - I agree - the current offering is the worst of the lot. I wouldn't classify him as much of a democrat as I would a socialist which I'm completely against.

The democrats have been on a tac to the left for most of my life. Harry truman would be to far to the right to even get the republican nomination this last election cycle. Looking at where the obama wants to take the country its off the charts to the left----hopefully enough voters will recognize this and make a course correction next year.....

I was at the National Tea Party September 12. There were a LOT of 'Don't Tread On Me' flags.

Too many people see the Republicans and Democrats expanding government.

I don't like any politician that wants to take my money and redistribute it to who they THINK needs it.

It's not just democrats.
