Football!

Hasn’t a pic been his last play for every team he’s been with?

Almost but yes if a lame duck incomplete pass doesn't count...

That was vintage 1997 Favre trying to make that play! They win if he slides past the line and make a field goal. Oh well, good for the Aints. Now they can be drubbed by Indy (if they play the same way they did yesterday)

BTW, what the F is up with Petersen? The retard needs to learn how to carry the ball in the middle of his chest!

I don't think the Vikings controlled the game - between not being able to hold on to the ball and the offensive line not protecting Favre I think they did plenty to give the game away. I certainly wouldn't blame the Saints for going after him - it's called football...

Go Saints!

I just cant sleep now until I know whether or not Farve is going to be coming back, or not, or yes, or not or maybe or yes or possibly or no or.....

Enjoy the glow, 'cause I can't see them beating a certain team from Indy.[/QUOTE]

We Shall See:grin:

Scott, do I detect a little wager here, like a tank of gas?:grin:

Valid, but you should strive to win by playing better, not by targeting the best players and taking them out of the game while intentionally drawing one personal foul after the other doing it. In hockey, they charge the players with assault for such attacks.

That's ok - people didn't see them have as good a season as they ended up with or beating the Vikings or...Either way I think we're in for a great game!!

:smt001 You must not have played too much ice hockey. Actually, the plan IS to take out their best skater

Of course, retribution from the opposing goon is always imminent, but thus why I love hockey, think there is no other sport that even comes close to it, and why baseball makes me snooze and football makes me change the channel.

Going to a super bowl party at Matt's house (slacker on this site) strictly for the hot wings and beer.

Jeez, I guess those Vike's fans don't know football. This game is football not ping pong! Everyone is vulnerable even Favre!

I do like the Colts as I am from Indy. The one thing I get sick of hearing is how the Saints have done all this for NO and the victims of Katrina. Christ it's a football game. I guess if they really wanted to do something they could have donated their way overpriced salaries to the city and the victims. THAT would have truly impressed me.

Jack, Ima tell ya, I really don't know wtf the Saints actually did for the city. But whatever they did it probably was a little more than our government has done.

I had 6 feet of water in my business, total loss, 7 feet of water in my house, 1/2 a loss (2 story). The government finally granted me money for my house to fix it. The amount they gave was not enough to completely finish my house by far. What they did give me was a bunch of friggin loans that I'll be paying back till I'm 70 years old:smt013. So i guess I'll be moving some wheelchairs till I'm 70.

I guess to say all of that, I really think that the Saints are kind of like our only hope for the city. When they win their games, the City is euphorically high. The crime and violence goes way down. Everybody is in a great mood and it really brings the morale of EVERYONE in the city way up.

I know people think we're kinda slow and backwoods down here but, we're really good folk and genuinely care about people. We always ask you "Hey baby, how ya durin, how ya mama and dem. Also, we don't buy groceries, we make groceries.

I wish both teams the best of luck, and hope no one gets hurt, and after da Saints spank dat A$$, I'll be on my way to Disney World to celebrate.

Speak for yourself, the Vikings lost because they put the ball on the ground 5 times! 12 men in the huddle! They outplayed the Saints and should have beaten them soundly. But they didn't because of their mistakes. I wish the Saints luck.

You want class? One of our local news channels lead off with the story of local National Guard troops returning home after 12-18 months in Iraq. The game was secondary, as it should be!

Now that I think about it, I remember hearing something about Reggie Bush doing something to two stadiums down here so the high school football teams could play in.
