They are beating the crap out of Favor (Favre) tonight - bastages. He's got to be drugged up. How many fumbles can these guys continue to commit? Jeesh!

Just realized - we're way behind - watching it without commercials after sitting in the hot tub between games. I won't be reading your posts.

EDIT: please forgive my anger. My team blew it and I can't even go cry in my boat.

How many fumbles did the VK commit? They gave this game to the dirty criminals from the la state. How many personal fouls did they commit against Favre? They were told to take him out and they tried. The only time that is a viable option is if they go after your QB first - F'n criminals!

Yes, but more importantly, the Colts won.

I'm with you on that one, but I've always liked Favre and the Vikings, and now they get together! After the 3rd or 4th fumble, they we're carrying that thing like it was covered in Sh17, not like it was made of gold. They threw it away. The Saints were not on their game.

The fumbles cost us the game but the interception was the nail in the coffin. I can't believe it. We owned that game despite the pounding that Favre took.

They threw it away.

So true. It was our game to loose and Brees was unimpressive. Where was Favre's protection? That guy had to have been injected with Vicodin....mere human's can't play with cracked ribs and twisted ankles unless they are medicated or named Favre.

I'm going to bed....my adrenalin rush is gone and I'm even more depressed....no Super Bowl, no boating, no reason to leave the house until May 1st.

Hang in there, man, there's always the final game to take the criminals out. That might be worth watching.

John I guess no one can mistake you for a Saint's Fan.

Who dat, who dat, who dat, Dat be de Saint's mon!

I am not a fan, but I thought it was really dirty the way the went after Favre the entire game. Reminded me of a bunch of thugs or Chicago politicians. They've had a great season. I thought that was really low and unnecessary.

True enough, but maybe you should take issure with his offensive line. Would have been nice if they would have protected him a little...:smt009

Anyway, two really good games. I didn't care who won the NFC game, I like both teams. I really wanted the Colts to beat the f'n Jets though.

All in all a mixed bag for me - Great day of football, but the 1st anniversary of my dad's death as well. He loved football (bought us our PSLs for the Rams) so I guess watching the games was a fitting way to pass the anniversary of his death...

Ok, I can't say I watched the whole game but I did see a couple of hits in the 3rd quarter when the game was 21 Saints 14 Vikings. I would not say those two hits that I saw were anymore than any other team going after the quarterback that has the talent that Favre has. Got a great reciever, double team him, got a great quarterback, pressure him. Football 101. Favre is no p u s s y. He is a great QB. He'll be in the hot tub with some bengay or sports rub and get over it and want to come out of retirement one more time next year.

He's not done. Statistically speaking, he had the best season of his career and he won't want his last throw to be an interception. He'll wait to see what moves the Vikes make in the offseason and will decide if they have a chance to go all the way next year. He'll be back if he likes what he sees.

I'd have to agree with that. As much as I dislike Favre being a Bears fan myself, I know he won't end his career with an interception. I wouldn't be suprised if he had at least a few cracked ribs if not more after the beating he took last night.

He should have ran with the ball,he was already running up field.could have made some yardage and take one last hit to get in field goal range and win game with a field goal.oh well, theres always next year :smt021

Hasn’t a pic been his last play for every team he’s been with?
