Maybe its just me & I shouldn't expect too much, anyway here's the rant. At the Toronto boat show a few weeks ago there was 2 types of food available, one being a few Pizza Pizza stands dotted around the place & a section they call " Meditteranian food". first of all I don't do Pizza Pizza as its likely the worst around yet they always seem to muzzle into these events. The Meditteranian consisted of a compacted tiny bowl of rice & a tiny piece of meat & a pop for $15.00.
I know these vendors likely have to pay huge rent for the space & they only have a short time to make their money
Why don't the organizers of these shows make it a little easier on the food vendors & insist on a certain standard of food & pricing also providing a better variety. I don't care if the meal is $30.00.....as long as it's worth that.
At the Toronto auto show yesterday, 1 scrawny slice of Pizza & a can of pop $7.50. Personally I am fed up with it & have decided in the future to avoid shows & exhibitions. Its already a $20.00 grab to get in but it doesn't stop there. Maybe it's just Toronto, I don't know. Interested to hear about shows in your area
