Firing gun from boat - illegal?

If I beat someone with the steel 8” barrel of my 5# revolver, is it an assault weapon?
Is it a hate crime if my black barrel beats a white guy?
Or is my barrel just reacting to 200 years of oppression?
If all the blueing wears off and its shiny white metal is it an Uncle Tom?
If he gets cut by the front sight was he “targeted”?
So many questions.

Ask yourself, why is the left always after the guns?

What has history taught us about when they go after the guns?

While I agree with your meaning and would be nice if that were the case. But Webster defines Assault Riffle as "any of various automatic and semiautomatic military firearms utilizing an intermediate-power cartridge,". Full auto has nothing to do with is it an assault riffle or not, it does have to do with whether or not to general public can own it or not.

With out getting into the available special licenses, the general public cannot legally own a full auto anything, nor can they be sold legally since 1986. And before then, the ATF had to approve ownership. So it is not easy for people to get legal full auto riffles. So the ones used in recent events are illegal riffles and the powers to be have never mentioned that.

Go to Webster's, Encyclopedia Britannica of Wikipedia. They are all define it slightly different. Since Websters has been changing definitions to match latest buzz lately..... Never mind, don't want to get banned.
