F1

Although I cant see it, given what happened yesterday, I have to believe that the Reliant Robin episode and Clarkson is on his side seconds afterward! Probably my favorite episode of all time with the dead pan "Zero to 60 simply wasn't possible" line!
Second favorite is the KIA Ce'ed episode with the 'eel and sodium' salesman bit where they proclaim "it has an 'AUX' in jack so we gave it to a 'local mucisian' to test" - next thing you see is Clapton playing the riff from Sunshine of Your Love plugged in to the Ce'ed

So I’m just gonna say it - This weekend is full blown communist. The track hasn’t been used since 2019 and hasn’t been re-paved since I don’t know when (maybe then)…..so they “painted” the track instead . It’s a sliding $#!t show to say least. Then add rain.

The stands are half empty, and the mood on camera seems to be if they show any emotion, the locals will be put in a work camp.

My worthless $.02

Interesting lineup for the Sprint

@OllieC...I agree with your assessment. They kept saying things like "the crowd was good for China on a Friday"......And what the heck was with the grass catching on fire? It was so obvious as to how it was happening, yet the F1 crew spent about 20 minutes doing indepth, investigative reporting. Sheesh...

But, kudos to F1 for the wide shots. It gave you a sense of the air quality or lack of it. It appeared to be a nucler winter there. The buildings in the distance were masked by a gray fog. Do you remember the Beijing Olympics a few years back? They shut down all factories a few months before to help "clear the air" before the international press showed up. If the environmental whackos wanted to REALLY do some good, they should go to China to ply their craft. Oh wait......

We are only through the Sprint Qualifying run. Should be an interesting race. I'm sort of hoping that it rains. Ha!

I forgot about the fires x2. Also, not sure if you noticed but in session 2 of the sprint qualifying, the DHL signs appeared and disappeared. Like a digital glitch. Is the signage/sponsors being added digitally and not placed on the track?

It’s just weird all around. Going to watch the Sprint and Qualifying this morning.
