Express vs Sedan Bridge

.....As for fuel burn (here's time for The Inconvenient Truth :smt021). I burn about 60 to 65 GPH at cruise, 80 GPH at full throttle...

You can keep that speed.....I'll cruise by the fuel dock and wave to ya'll as I'm blazing by at a measely 21-23 knots....averaging 1.1 sMPGs burning ~20 GPH...

I really want a bridge boat......waaaahh!!!!!

Jaws,
We'll be there for sure. Toronto Boat Show is a good way to mark the mid-point of the offseason. Maybe we'll get a chance to say "hello".

Cheers,
Paul

Dom,
If you're blazing by the fuel docks at 21-23 knots, you may get more than a "wave" from folks! :smt024

20 GPH beats 65 any day. But then again, I'm burning zero GPH right now and would prefer to be burning 65...:smt089

Great thread. Cracked me up. I love this site. :smt038

My neighbor has the 420DB and though he likes it prefers the size of the afterdeck on my 44DA. When funding permits, he is considering a larger DB just to get the afterdeck space.

I'm lovin' the 44DA but sad because I put it to bed last weekend. :smt089

I thought you Virginny guys make a go of it all year long? A bit too far north, I guess?

Tough call this year as there is the possibility of a "real" winter. I am considering the purchase of the bilge heater. This is my first winter with this boat so I'd rather be safe. Usually, the first hard freeze isn't until January or so. We'll see. I already miss the boat... :smt089

I went from a 450 express bridge to the 560 sedan bridge we have now. I would have to say the only thing i liked better on the express bridge was how easy it was to access the bow for docking. My crew (wife and kids)spend most of the time below decks watching sat T V , playing playstation , and ****. So i prety much dock and tie up myself. Having almost instant access to the bow from the helm was nice.
