At my indoor rack storage, the rack storage agreement states that you must pull your batteries for the winter. I think it must be a liability issue. Just think if the boat above you had an issue and affected your boat below.....
Our indoor rack storage prefers you disconnect the neg battery cable not for liability they don't want to hear all the co detectors going off all winter long. If we call them they'll pull the boat out and top them off before charging the batteries for us their bored during winter months. This year we plan on going out at least a couple times a month weather permitting to charge the batteries and have some fun if we can't rough it in a little rain and wind with heat, stove, microwave and TV maybe we should find something else to spend our money on.
