With respect to naps...my new theory is that previously undiagnosed (and unknown) sleep apnea was handled with a little afternoon nap in lieu of some heinous mask and air pump Rube Goldberg!

Barely - we had to go to Florida (hour ahead) this week to reacclimate. That gets expensive.

I suppose those of you on East coast time could head to Bermuda to reacclimate?

The bottom row is perfect. I'm curious what determines "reasonable".???

We're supposed to go back to Standard Time next Saturday night/Sunday morning, so here's a handy guide to help with changing your clocks:

One of the reasons I married my wife is because she knew how to program a VCR. Amazingly her mechanical aptitude disappeared after marriage….however that’s okay because I can never find my car keys and she knows where everything is. True story.;)

I’m tired of this clock shit. I thought Biden was going to do one thing right last Spring and stop this time change shenanigans.

True, but that was a year ago, and I forgot it was there. I guess I should have looked...

In the CSR bylaws there is a clause (5/ii/3/a) that explicitly states that on seasonal topics, each successive period can be argued as if the past periods had never occurred.

What do you not like about DST? I love it because it allows for more daylight later in the day. Can stay out on the water until 9-10pm and still have light at peak summer…

I got a bunch of cool retirement gifts from coworkers. From a really nice knife that is the sharpest I’ve ever seen, dangerously sharp, like a razor knife. To a really cool pocket size brass engraved sundial. Antique finish. I have no clue how it works. Didn’t come with instructions.

I think the idea was to stay on DST all year rather than changing spring and fall? Maybe I got that wrong?

They don't like the kiddos going to the bus stop in the dark around here. I too love the extra daylight later in the day.

Lay it on the ground or level table (outside in sunny area) pointing north (true?) and the time should roughly match your watch. Do this a few times and no need for the watch ...

Will check it out later, thanks.
Next up, I want to learn a sextant. Why? So I can appear smarter than others.
