Daylight Saving Time

Oh yeah I'm certainly ready for spring. But in Michigan, the daylight time is crazy late for over 2 months. On the east coast for sure, but Michigan could easily be Central timezone.
This is one of my favorite things about Michigan. Almost 10 o’clock at night and sitting in the cockpit with daylight!

I look forward all year to be able to post this one!

I just dont see the biggie. It has never affected my sleep patterns. I hear some people experience similar to jet lag and can take a week to feel better.
Its not the time clock, its the alcohol.
As Sinatra said "I feel sorry for people who dont drink every day, when they wake up thats the best they gonna feel all day".

The fall time switch is a non-event for me, but the spring switch screws me up for a few days.

Personally, I'd like to remain on DST year round. It's ridiculous that it is dark at 5:30 in the evening in December.
I think there is a bill going through in Oklahoma to keep dst year round, I am all for it

Down here it is dark ~4:30 in December ... Talk about depressing, I feel like warmed over death until ~Feb when it starts to get noticeably lighter at night.

I wish they would just keep it active al year long.

Years ago Indiana didn’t do DST….. I lived in PA where we did dst….both of us were eastern time……I had a customer in Indy that I had constant phone meetings and visits so half the year we were an hour apart….. you want to talk about a pain in the ass. You were constantly saying your time or my time

the other thing screwed up is the Northern part of Indiana is Central time. That’s mostly because of Chicago. If it wasn’t for the water I say just give that part to Illinois….. plus they are mostly democrat up there….. they would fit right in

My Grandparents lived in Howe, IN and my Father lived in Sturgis MI, only 5 miles due north. My Grandparents never changed the clock while my Dad had to change his. What a pain in the ass... "who's time" for dinner etc... Part of the year IN matched my time in Chicago while the other half of the year they matched MI.

My son in AZ. They dont do DST. So time difference shifts between 2 and 3 hours difference. Its nuts, he always call after work when we are sleeping or we calling him in morning when he sleeping.
