Oh the humanity, how very tragic ... prayers indeed :smt001
If anyone is still planning on cruising around Vineyard Sound this weekend, we'll be in a slip at Hyannis Marina from Friday - Sunday. If we're not on the boat, we can probably be found at one of the onsite bar/restaurants... Trader Ed's by the pool, or Tugboats overlooking the harbor. If you do stop by the boat, we'll make you a Painkiller just like the ones on Jost Van Dyke at the Soggy Dollar Bar...
Mick at the Soggy Dollar would be proud!
Great write up as always Alex..... You never disappoint..... However, I'm starting to see a pattern of rough seas whenever Inspiration is on the water..... Just saying..........
So I was able to salvage my drone by replacing the controller board and a new battery. Surprisingly every other component survived the salt water. I was also able to recover the only footage I was able to capture before it went for a dive in Shelter. It took a bit of trying since the video was cut short before the camera was able to finalize. Either way check the link below for the footage from The Feast. Thanks again to Rick who sprung into action to help retrieve the drone a the cost of a change of shorts. You can see the crash at the end of the video as the prop came loose and the drone nose dived into 2 feet of water. I added some pirate themed music to thank Harold and Arlene for the treasure hunt that the kids loved so much.
