We have a family reunion and will be on Kelleys Island from the 15th through the 22nd. Weather and lake conditions permitting we may be able to swing by on the 21st. We would need to be in the short bus area with Scott and the other small boats. Mark me as tentative. It will depend on how things play out with the family reunion.

Hey Randy how was your trip to the new ride sat? Get anything accomplished besides day dreaming?

Yep, made the trip up on Saturday. It's kind of neat to see the lake and the bay this time of year vs. the wonderful summer seasons.

We did more cleaning and organizing. The Flybridge is now up to my standards, the cabin is nearing same. This just leaves the ER, cockpit and the bilges to clean clean clean. Then it's time to attack the hull with some buff magic and coats of Flagship.

I do like the ability to work on the boat when it's just to cold outside....helps pass the time until launch.

Glad to hear it... I would be bat crazy...

Anyone want to guess where I am?

Just FYI gang. I was at the Boat Show and grabbed a flyer from MarineMax. Aquaplooza is set for July 28th and is again being held at Huron, the same site where they did it last year. It won't conflict with our get together!

Just back from the Boat Show and spoke with Jim Connor (GM-Marine Max) and Heidi Biglin (Event Coordinator - MM). Advised them of our planned get together at Middle Bass. I suggested that they might want to join us and bring a few boats over for us to look at.

Also spoke with a great guy at Lake & Bay Yacht Sales. Told me he had a babied 34' AJ that was traded in on an Egg Harbor. Hmmmm, wonder who's boat that was?

Casey did they seam interested in our group?

Randy... that's great news...

MBI sounds great!! We spent a week there last August ... Walleye's pool side can't be beat!! :smt038

July gets really busy for us, and Aug. is our month to kick back in the Islands; but we'll sure try to make it.
