So being envious of some of the other guys that are planning get togethers. I thought I would see if anyone around my neck of the woods would be interested in meeting. It might be fun to actually meet some people from here and get to know them and their boats better. I was thinking about Middle Bass Island Marina because they can handle many different size boats and I also am good friends with the Dock Masters. Also, at MB we would all have our own dock, electric, and water.

If you have never been there here is the web site...

If you have not seen the new marina here it is...

I have also had parties at JF Walleyes and if we had enough interest I will talk to the owner and reserve a section of the Blue Lagoon...

I would love too but my canoe is too small for your puddle

I took the 290 up to Middle Bass in 2010....nice marina. I am working a deal on a 32 Carver Aft cabin so I may not be mobile! I like the idea but probably won't make it.

yeah Quint I knew you were working on the carver but wanted you to be invited any how...

We will take all CSR members no matter how they get there...

Im thinking about July 21st weekend for this what do you guys think?

I'm in but I think we should look at other dates. That weekend is x-mas in July and the place will be relatively full making it hard for Susie and Karen to keep us all together.

I'll mark it on my calander! Sounds like fun...

Alex,

I think Xmas in July is the following weekend (July 27-29).

The PIB calendar shows that the ILYA Power Boat Regatta is the weekend of July (20-22).

Susie actually hails from my home town  I'll get with her and work something out once I get a rough head count...

Wow, this has done better then I would have guessed... You guys are great!!!

I stand corrected. That should work fine. We really won't be able to shore anything up until may when they start answering the phones on MBI.

The regatta is that weekend though so we may be overrun by blow boats :)

Sounds like a lot of fun. If it works out with my wife's work schedule then will we will be there. Unfortunately, we won't have a handle on that until we are 2 - 4 weeks out.

We did a mini rendezvous with three other boats last year on Christmas weekend at MBI marina. It was still very quiet on that pseudo holiday weekend. The dockmasters even asked me to turn my stereo down in the middle of the day even though you could have a normal conversation standing right next to my boat.

Walleye's and Hazzard's should be hopping.

Pete.

LTD.330 I tried to PM you sounds great... If you know of some other CSR members that would be interested please let them know about this thread...

Talked to the wife last nite and I will call us tentatively in
as long as we can both get the weekend off and the old JP is running well this year
this is an 80% commitment...will know more when time gets closer.

Would love to be there but we won't be in that area until August.

Thinking of heading up the Erie Canal to Lake Ontario and going down the Rideau and Trent Canals, back out to Lake Huron, down through the Detroit River and onto Sandusky(early to mid August) then home to Niagara. Most likely starting out mid July.

PM sent regarding your planned trip.

put me down as a tentitive! I've never been to MB but have heard great things about the new marina and such. I need to check our calandar, I know we'll be up the weekend of 27th-29th but I'm not sure if anything is going on that weekend before....stay tuned.
