What are all those tall aluminum thingies sticking out of the middle of the hulls of the boats in your marina...????? :smt017
I like to think of them as lightning protection... better them than me!

WoW...and that one in the travel lift....it has something huge growing right smack out of the middle of the bottom.......looks serious.... at least those guys are trying like heck to wash it off.....

$2500 per year whether you have a 10 foot dingy or a 38 foot Sundancer. That's for a covered slip ................and the cost of electricity is included as well. Dockside water at all docks and a pump out for the head is available as well. Plus the Marina is run by our dealer so when your boat needs work you don't have to pull it out or take it some where.

$2400 for an 11'X30' for the six month season. Great facility next to a 5 star hotel. The marina has a private shower/bathroom facility, marina store, gas dock. The pass entitles you to use a first class rec center/gym in the resort hotel.

I pay $340 a month for dry storage here in Panama City. I had her SOLD last week untill the buyer found out that the cheapest thing he could find in Ft. Walton was $720 a month. Ft. Walton is only 45 minutes west of here and he says will quit boating before he pays that much... . I offered to cut my price to help him absorb the cost but he is affraid of what it may cost him next year.

We're on base, so our price is not bad for our area - $1776 / year and that includes dry storage space (but not the haulout cost). Water and electric are included at no extra charge. Our marina is pretty bare bones though, no pool or playground. We do have a fuel dock and rumor has it the pump out will be fixed this year.

Best part for us is that it is ten minutes from the house and we both work on base, so we can have lunch on the boat during the week.

Are these marina prices or yacht club prices?

Holy Cow, Florida is expensive as hell. I always dreamed of living and boating in Florida, I guess i'm not the only one.

55 x 18' well rate, $ 3,235. includes water, electric. But....this is a marina that is our community's waterfront park. Not a commercial - for profit-marina, resident's only. We pay very high taxes in our city and this is our park. Pool, tennis, snack shop, community center, beach, charcoal grills, tot pool/playscape. They are adding Wi-Fi this spring.

Bought the slip for $17,500 last year. 40' lay-along, electric, water, pool, clubhouse, secure and protected marina. They lease out for $225/month +/- for summer. The 60' slips sell for about $32K at this marina. $800 annual maint/fees.

Louisville (on the Ohio River) has new 42' slips downtown going for $37,500 at a new condo complex. Rates go down to about $6000 to purchase as you get about 15 miles upstream.

cost of slip

I pay approx. $6,000 for a 39' slip (incl. the 2 extra ft. of my boat) so 6 grand for a 41' slip incl. water but elec. is extra. Nice pool, but up here in Ct. you pay more the closer you get to L.I. Sound, and my marina is right on the sound.

$2,100 per year for a 30 X12 slip (April till end of November). Includes water and electricity in a cove marina. We get the use of the clubhouse and the docks have card-key access for security.

Ok, I'm moving to Louisville.

I'm leasing my slip from an owner. If I were to buy my slip.... $82k. ummmmm...... that's more than my boat cost.

Ok, I have a question for you Floridians, do the winter months cost a lot less than the summer months? I was thinking of hauling my boat down for a couple of winter months. But after reading what it costs, i'm having second thoughts.
