Clarion marine radio problems could use a little help

I have a Clarion XMD3 radio on the boat. The sound was working fine one day went out the following day and had no audio at all. Pulled plug on back of radio and put it back in sound came on for about one second and stopped. Mute is not on first thing that was checked all speaker connections are good. Any ideas????

Can you duplicate the same one second on of sound if you just power off and back on?

Let us know if you have amp(s) and/or using the head units power amp as well.

Did you push on the little speaker on the dash pod starboard side, that usually powers the radio on.

I have the CMD4. A month ago, no sound from the starboard speakers cabin nor cockpit. Pulled the unit to get to the back, jiggled the wires going to the main plug, and no more problems...yet.
