I'm trying to figure out how things are wired on my 280DA's stereo. I have two speakers down in the cabin that when the amp is off only sound comes from the two cabin speakers (makes sense sorta).
When the amp is on, I hear sound in the cabin speakers as well as up in the cockpit from the radio, CD, etc.
Here is what I searched for and couldn't find here:
I added a connection to feed the aux inputs to the stereo so I can plug in an iPod. When the ipod is connected and turned turned on the aux DOES play the sound through the cabin speakers, but ONLY to the two cabin speakers and not to the cockpit even with the amp on.
I tried to use the fade setting in the radio but cannot get the sound back to the cockpit area. As a matter of fact, when I try to fade I hear the ipod on one set of speakers (cabin) and as I fade to the rear (cockpit) I hear whatever is playing on the radio, etc.
Anyone else experienced this? I'm confused.
