Beautiful day yesterday and heading out again today.
103 clams, not a bad haul for the last day.
Headed home and onto the trailer.

Well called it quit's on Sunday ... Moved the boat over to the under cover in water storage. Unloaded it and will winterize next week. Sad, sad, sad ...

Where's that 2nd home down south thread?

I’m surprised you waited this long, i pulled mine 11/4. Its done. Thursday be near 70. Gonna take the zodiac out for one last ride down Middle River then take the outboard and zodiac home for winter.
Wore out, usually at marina every day, some days before work, at lunch, after work. Not sad. Need a break from it.

Sounds like the way I love things. But I get the break. Now I get a chance to work on things a bit.

Oddly, I get a feeling of satisfaction when the boat is finally back home on the driveway after a good season.

I do get bad with things at times, I have to go to the boat and work on it even when there is nothing to do. Luckily I have an old boat and there is always something to do.

Yep, it never seems to end there! What slip were you in? I have a friend looking for a slip on N.
N19... I havent told them that I am not coming back....so it should be available. Also my neighbor N17 bought a bigger boat that wont fit in that slip...also N3 bought a bigger boat as well that wont fit...good luck

Took a quick ride, fueled up, pumped out, changed oil and filters and winterized engines on Saturday. Winterized the gen and did a final wash on Sunday. Will wait a few more weeks to do the water system and heat.

Mid 70s today, sunny. Took day off, went for zodiac ride all over the river. This time of year, Thursday, just the gulls and me. Did not see another boat. These are the days i live for. Carefree.
Now i need to bring that outfit home and put in house. Officially done.
2021 its a wrap.
Wont see another day like this til May.

So i was trying to figure out how to get zodiac home for winter cause this probably amaze you mid western folks, but i don’t know anyone with a truck.
But, Home Depot rents trucks $19 first 75 minutes. Perfect. I can make the HD to marina to house to HD under an hour. Problem solved.

That is crazy Pirate, there’s a truck in practically every driveway here in Michigan, lol.
