Looked at November forecast. After the 12th temps drop fast. I hate to say it but told wifey if we can get one more nice day to use it, i will pull. Gonna drain / winterize the fresh water system friday. Its time to call it a season. DAM IT.

Wow, really? Hope you got a few good runs in now that you're back in business.

We have the slip til Nov 1, I am running until Nov 1 even if I have to put on a snowsuit.

These days I do most of my boating early in the morning, at sunrise, mid-week. But I'll take what I can get!

In a strange way, it will be nice to have it on blocks for the winter so I can add a few things like underwater lights in the spring before launch.

My season was done Monday, one of the nices days of the year. Bitter sweet as I have been too busy at work to get any enjoyment. Winterizing was a chore.

Pulled mine Friday last week. Spent the weekend winterizing, buff and waxing, oil change, lower unit oil change, new anodes, waterproof mooring cover, new plugs and new supercharger belt. Put it away in warehouse Sunday morning. Until next year….

Pulled mine out today. Went out yesterday and today, both days were beautiful, sunny and low 70s

I'm done running other than out to get fuel and a final pumpout. Won't winterize for another month and will keep going down every weekend. Staying in the water under covered shed so I'll still continue to go down and putz around during the winter.

We're not in the 'Mid-Atlantic, Lake Erie, but... Taking a trip this weekend to Put-In-Bay for adult Halloween. Maybe one the following weekend, depends on if Seaway Marina on Kelleys Island will still be operational. Currently scheduled to pull on Friday, November 5th. We don't do much other than treat the fuel and let it run for a bit and to the hoist, drain the water systems & water tank and get a pumpout and treat the head systems & holding tank. Love heated storage, so does the boat! And take some of our "summer clothes" off for when we travel/vacation somewhere warm in the winter time, this year(actually February of 2022) is Turks!

I am in a much different boat (pun intended). Mine finally got launched last week (new starboard engine) and I was able to start both engines myself for the first time since the sea trial 1 year ago. Mechanic still working out a little cooling issue then I plan to finally bring it to my marina in Middle River. I hope to use it well into December since it is staying in all winter. The cabin and cockpit heat will make it nice. Will probably winterize the water system late november and hold off on the engines into mid December or so, depending on weather outlook. Bay water will stay above freezing for a while. Fingers crossed!

We aint seen a Bay freeze long time, looks like you have inboards. I was advised by Cutters, and other mechanics to pull if i/o. Which is really suck cause my slip fee is all year. Could keep in water free, pulling is extra 600.

I plan to run as long as I can. Panels go back on this weekend or today. Drain the water and blow it out. I bet I didn’t put 4 hours on the old girl this year.

Mine wasn’t as bad as yours though. Bad transmission and a ton of work kept me off the water

The temptation is so great when the forecast is good.

Seems that you, DarkSide, and me had an 'interesting' year. i think i put 8 hours on it.
Yep, one whole hour here. Promptly broke a brand-new shift cable on the starboard outdrive at our last time together. She's now trailered and wrapped for the long, cold North Idaho winter.

Went to marina today to drain/ winterize fresh water system. Just could not do it. Was too nice out. Will wait a while. Going cruising tomorrow.

Same here. I got as far as adding the Sta-bil but it was 72 and a nice breeze.
