Don't want to cause any commotion but I was wondering if another CSR burgee buy would be possible?
The first batch was sharp looking:thumbsup:

Sure, I can do that. Just want it to be known that no complaining is allowed if they don't show up in a timely manner. Lets use this thread to get a count of how many we will be ordering. I think last time they were about $30 each, 40 people ordered.

Stupid question, what is a burgee? Like everything else though, I'm sure I need one. SB

count me in for a burgee.
whatever size is appropriate for a 330 da, thinking of moving up to 400db or 480 db, hopefully before the next great lakes boating season arrives.
anyone need/want our current 330 da? (will deliver free in wisconsin, per professional trailered service, or negotiable rate anywhere else in the us).

chris

I'd love one but, like said before they're Steelers colors. sorry Jim
BTW, regardless of the size of your boat the burgee is the same size. Flags on the other hand have a size in relation to your boat size.

If your giving away your 330 da I'll take it

I do get a lot of complements on the CSR burgee on my boat. You guys should go for it. It was worth the wait.

How timely...I was just looking at them the other day. Is there a formula?

Size of Flags
Although flags come in a fixed, standardized series of sizes, there are guidelines which will help in selecting the proper size for your boat.

Keeping in mind that flags are more often too small than too large, use the rules given below, and round upward to the nearest larger standard size.

The flag at the stern of your boat-U.S. ensign, yacht ensign, or USPS ensign-should be one inch on the fly for each foot of overall length. The hoist will normally be two-thirds of the fly, but some flags such as the USCG Auxiliary ensign have different proportions.

Other flags such as club burgees, officer flags, and private signals for use on sailboats should be approximately 1/2 inch on the fly for each foot of the highest mast above the water. For flying on powerboats, these flags should be roughly 5/8 inch on the fly for each foot of overall length. The shape and proportions of pennants and burgees will be prescribed by the organization to which they relate. A union jack should be the same size as the corresponding portion of the national ensign.

this if from Flag Etiquette

So if I translate that correctly...I have a 260 Dancer (actually 28' long). So the mast should be 28" long, and the flag should be about 18"x30" (rounded-up)?

Why is "just get over it" coming to mind???

So you are going to be the pack leader next summer, and the only one not flying the CSR burgee? Now I know what everyone will be whispering about to each other when you are looking the other way.
